WOYWW...basically nothing but a Giveaway!

Hello WOYWWer's
Do you remember my desk from last time?

Well look what happened...

So you can see why I have nothing to show for this weeks 'What's On Your Workdesk'.
I haven't even got the desk!
But I know a fantastic place where you can see lots of desks and creativity.
Thanks to Julia over at Stamping Ground hosting WOYWW.
Click here if you'd like to be transported there.

But before I forget you may like to have your name entered into my 'Giveaway' draw which ends on 15th February.
All you have to do to enter is to leave a comment on my Grow Your Own Blog Party post (or better still press the follow button...that's not a requirement but I'd love to see you there)
It's that simple and if I can persuade McMuffy to do her party piece once again, then she'll paw the winner's name ^..^
To see how she did the last draw click here

Have a wonderful week everyone with lots of creativity.
I really hope I'll be able to show some artwork soon.https://secure.quebles.com/content/hotmail/emoticons/1511763.gif

    1. Construction...and some Winnie,
The guys are all over the house so I'm giving in and sitting working online. Its a brilliant excuse whilst all the chaos happens around me.
They are being extremely considerate other than leaving doors open when the North Wind doth blow...but I've got the wood burner blasting out thankfully ;D
We keep hearing that snow is on the way but so far it hasn't arrived.
Don't worry spring will come sooner or later and just think how we'll appreciate every aspect of it when it does arrive!

In the meantime keep cosy and I'll pop across to see you soon.
Thanks for stopping by my place :D

The window is being finished off as I type and looks fantastic so hopefully I'll be able to admire the view uninterrupted. ;D
Thanks for popping over to my place.

You can do without those sort of adventures eh? ;D
No snow here (yet) but we are blowing today. They keep saying the snow will arrive but each day it doesn't appear...well not here anyway.

Have a terrific Thursday and thanks again for stopping by.
See you at your place soon :D

On the whole I can say we've escaped any major incidents so far...but I'm touching wood for luck that it remains that way ;D

  7. Hi Neesie,

That window is going look great once it's in. You definitely have lots of windows to replace -- what is the count of finished windows now? That is something I should put on the "to do" around my place. I only have five windows!

    Happy WOYWW

    1. Hi Kay,
Well I'm happy to report that the window is in a looking afa bonnie as they say. We have another exactly the same above it upstairs but that's for Monday. Hopefully the weather will be kind when the old one comes out!
Only 10 more to go now!
Apologies for taking so long to reply but I can now type with two hands so hope to catch up soon and get back to visiting everyone.
Enjoy your weekend and I hope to see you soon.

    1. Hi Margaret,
Yep each window is making a huge difference and well worth the effort. We only have 10 to go so we're getting there.
Thankfully we haven't had snow yet and I hope we can get the rest of the windows in before any arrives ;D
I think it might be some time before I get my desk back though.
Have a great weekend and I hope to visit soon

  10. Amazing view...Love the decking too... Hope your ribs & wrist are doing a little better...Try to keep warm... Hugs May x x x

  11. Wow, your deck looks amazing. I do think it's a bit chilly outside to be without windows. :).
I hope you have a great Valentine's Day! and that you and Muffy have windows and a desk soon.

  12. At first glance I thought it was storm damage, but then I remembered the construction, though at the photo's point it looks more like deconstruction. I hope that hardy scot there is wearing thermal underwear.
As for the desk, It is so tidy and clean. i would be ashamed to show mine, though the old dining table with paint all over it may one day be sold as a work of abstract art. How wonderful to have that lovely view from your studio window.

  14. At least it is not raining or snowing while the construction is going on...I would never get anything done with the lovely view outside your window! Just beautiful.

    1. Well we've had all the weather variations over the last week or so Wendy, but thankfully the guys don't have the gaping holes for too long before the new window goes in. We have a similar large window upstairs above this one and that's still to be done. Hopefully the weather will be kind when that's being done on Monday!
Thanks for popping over and once I'm up to date replying to everyone I'll have more time to visit everyone.
      Enjoy your weekend!

  15. What a beautiful panorama window you're getting, it will be a perfect spot to create and recreate at.... or to chat to your blogging friends ....or just sit and chill (except you will be warm and toasty!)
    Have a lovely weekend.

The window is complete and looking afa bonnie as they say. I've even cleaned it today to make the view even more clear. Thankfully the sun shone too.
I'm thinking about you and all your decision making. I hope to visit you soon.
