It's good to get feedback especially when it's positive so thank you for taking the time ;D
Hey...never apologise to me for being late...my second name is tail-end Charlie...I'm always way behind. I always make a lot of noise going out into the garden at night just in case! ^..^
As to the deer...yep they are near but seem to stay out of the garden for now. I'm more bothered about the rabbits especially when I start to plant up a veggie plot!
Crazy weather here in the UK today. Here in Scotland we've a chilly 12C degrees whilst down in the South East of the country they have 31C degrees. That's quite a range and not the norm!

I've brought out my old camera so will certainly be playing the happy snapper! I think I've taken about a dozen already today.

Have a good day...and give Karma a tickle from me
xoxoNeesiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08629847485174945501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254134409987044782.post-32796005733808646702013-09-05T08:42:52.758+01:002013-09-05T08:42:52.758+01:00An absolute wealth of beautiful photographs, all s...An absolute wealth of beautiful photographs, all so interesting to investigate. You have been busy, busy, busy. That wild cat looks so interesting to me. I hope you see it again. The deer will probably be around--and eat your garden, from what I always hear.
What a great post! Such memories in those old buildings. I think an art studio is just the ticket!! Yes!! And I totally understand the volatile weather being part of the conversation every day. People always talk about the weather up here, too. I mention it in almost every post (especially for my dad). Enjoy!! I love fall!!! I hope you take lots of fall pictures for us. :)Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02043285884495492598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254134409987044782.post-5995177433888029132013-09-03T08:46:30.673+01:002013-09-03T08:46:30.673+01:00Morning Darla,

It sounds positively crowded doesn't it? ;D

Yeah, fun with the folly...I just wish we knew what to do with it. We want to make the most of it so I think we are going to ask an architect for advice.
We're also thinking of adding a conservatory so that we can enjoy the garden and light even in the midst of an Aberdonian winter!
Now problem today though because we are forecast to have 24C degress again! Whoohoo! ;D

I hope the weather is good with you...long may your sun shine! :D
xoxoNeesiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08629847485174945501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254134409987044782.post-15077421656612450152013-09-02T20:54:20.889+01:002013-09-02T20:54:20.889+01:00It is so much fun to explore your new setting/old ...It is so much fun to explore your new setting/old property with you. Well we are having an amazing day here......Hi Wren,
Well we are having an amazing day here...a crazy 25C! Yeah I'm not kidding...it's strange because yesterday there was such a cold wind and I thought we were definitely heading into thermals but hold that thought!
Suns out and it's actually warmer outside the house than inside!

Look Wren, me in ANY Onesie would not be pretty! Not even if it was covered in beautiful butterflies! It's a scary thought and I don't want to even think about it, never mind have a vision! :$

Have a lovely week too
xoxoNeesiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08629847485174945501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254134409987044782.post-3429371111762172582013-09-02T14:30:12.283+01:002013-09-02T14:30:12.283+01:00Oh a wood burner would be compulsory for the folly...Oh a wood burner would be compulsory for the folly Von ;D
Hey what cold???? It's 25C here today with SUN!
It looks like you've sussed me...I did pack the weather into our freight before we left! LOL
And I'm so glad we did :D

Now don't laugh but McMuffy doesn't have a kilt (yet!) but she does have a tartan coat!
My Mum bought it for her years ago when we lived in Qatar. Very bizarre...Middle East and no notion of moving back to Scotland at that time. Maybe she knew something we didn't?

I'm rather disappointed with some of my photos. I definitely want (no need) a new camera. Maybe have to put it on the Christmas wish list AGAIN! :$

I hope your Monday has started well and that the rest of the week follows along the same lines. It seems my wish for the Indian summer may have come true.
Well at least for today!
It's a crazy 25 degrees celcius!

I'm still tidying up out there (just nipped in for a cuppa) but I'm thinking it's about time I had fun with pots, plants and colours. I will be limited as to what will survive over the winter months, so maybe I should limit my planting just now and spend time in the planning stage.
What's that saying..."Fail to Plan...Plan to Fail" ;D
I know for a start I want a greenhouse and a veg plot.

Enjoy your California sunshine and garden.
Lovely to see you and thanks for taking the time out to comment.
I love to chat xoxo Neesiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08629847485174945501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254134409987044782.post-72988470109010497912013-09-02T11:35:47.026+01:002013-09-02T11:35:47.026+01:00Hi Kay,

Just let me know when you're coming and I'll make sure I bake a cake and put the kettle on.
You may need to do a spot of weeding or digging though? ;D

You are quite right...the pink blooms are Paeonia's. It's just a shame that they only flower once.

I can't believe the weather today. It's a crazy 25C so maybe my wish for an Indian summer is coming true.
Maybe I should just keep quiet and enjoy it. I don't want to frighten it away.

By the way, I think your stopping time choice sounds just perfect.

I hope your week starts good and just gets better and better!
xoxoNeesiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08629847485174945501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254134409987044782.post-40932356403649851672013-09-02T01:29:13.107+01:002013-09-02T01:29:13.107+01:00Hi Neesie

If it makes you feel better, it's cloudy here and only 25 deg today and it's the first day of spring :( Did you nick our sunny days??? Little McMuffy has certainly fitted in well, she looks really happy up on the hay bale but where's her kilt? Keep those fabulous photos coming, I feel like I'm there, it's such a beautiful place. The photos are professional grade and the commentary perfect for the grand tour! I hope you get your own little Playhouse, but since you have a wonderful place inside the house, I think your Playhouse should be a contemplative lounge. Like going away, without going away. A lovely fire, a stove for heating the kettle, comfy chairs for you and the McMuffster ... perhaps even a bed for laying out under the stars? I'm so green with envy right now at my own daydream for you!! LOL!

I'm heading back out to my own garden. With California weather I am blessed to be able to exchange the end-of-summer flowers that have pooped out with fresh flowering pots for the new season. My silver lace vine is going crazy with happiness and the russian sage has gotten so tall and has spread quite a bit. I love the pink blooms - they kind of remind of peonies or double bloom hollyhocks.

I don't know about stopping time. It would be hard to pick just one time --- while I'm reading, playing the my doggies or just enjoying my backyard.

So glad the weather has cooperated and made your transition from Australia to the UK.

Peace,
Kay
505whimsygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16594635228441769910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254134409987044782.post-83083398416590124462013-09-01T18:14:37.072+01:002013-09-01T18:14:37.072+01:00I hope so Nan...but hopefully we won't have an...I hope so Nan...but hopefully we won't have anything too cold or severe.
