What's on Your Workdesk ~ WOYWW 155

Hello Wednesday WOYWWer's...how are you?
I hope you've had a great creative week but no doubt I'll soon know when I go desk hopping. If you're wondering what I am going on about visiting desks, then pop over to the lovely Julia and join in...there's so much talent out there, plus if you're a sticky beak nosey parker like me, then you'll love snooping around everyone's desk.
So now is the time to reveal my desk....but today I'm going to try and keep my post brief because not only is that Julia's preference, I also want to get on with actually working on my project. Mainly setting up my Etsy shop with some of my designs. I'm still playing with the printing process at the moment, so I'm not sure which designs will make it or when? I've also many more designs still clambering to get out of my head onto paper!
So other incidentals like eating, sleeping and generally life will just have to wait until I get this sorted.

 It was a little dull taking this photo this morning because the sun hasn't managed to reach over the high hedge yet. It is out but as I've mentioned above I'm a little impatient to get going today so I couldn't wait. Most of the work is contained in plastic wallets too which isn't the best for taking photos. I was sorting through them late yesterday and that's the way I left them. Maybe I should repost in a few hours when hopefully I'm in the thick of things....

So there you are....work in progress as they say. Have fun desk hopping and hopefully we'll meet up somewhere along the way ;D

p.s. Oops forgot to say earlier when I sent this post that I hope to have my first giveaway as soon as I have a set of cards ready.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If I haven't clicked on your 'follower' button for you're blog please forgive me...it really isn't anything personal its just that I really haven't had the chance to follow more just yet, but I hopefully will be able to soon  ♥
  30. Hi Neesie, from a gloriously sunny Ayr. I know you find it hard to believe but it's true. We have even been having better weather than they are in many parts of England and it isn't so long ago that Aboyne, not far from Aberdeen, was recorded as having temperatures of around 23.7 ... amazing! Love your desk, as usual, your artwork is lovely. Is there a reason for the container of shells? Hope you are having a great WOYWW, and making great headway with whatever it was your were planning to work on. Elizabeth x #127
    1. Sunny Ayr...wow! I hope you're getting out there to enjoy it Elizabeth. I have been to Aboyne many times having lived and still have a house just outside of Aberdeen. Hey if only the temperature would stay around 24 degrees I might be able to return sometime ;D
      I picked up the shells whilst on our weekend trip to Rye (see previous post) and one in particular caught my attention. It had worn the outside shell away to reveal the twisting curly centre which would make a great design...something I haven't managed to get to yet but they're there to remind me to get to it!
      Thanks for you're visit and I hope you have fun with WOYWW ~ Enjoy that sun too :D
      The pleasures all mine...thanks for stopping by.
      I guess you're precious little bundle hasn't arrived yet otherwise you'd be a little tied up right now.
      Good luck and best wishes for when the stork arrives ;D
      In the meantime have a wonderful weekend and enjoy that sun I'm hearing so much about. Have fun!
    1. Hello Joynana,
      Thank you so much for following. I'm thrilled to have you come aboard! I hope you enjoy your visits :D
      I'm so excited today because after battling with a koala design (that is progressing but he's putting up a fight) I decided to put him to one side to think about his behaviour and started a new design. I'm really happy with it so far so I'll reveal it when it's completed. Oh and I am hoping to do my first 'giveaway' soon so now you're a follower you'll get to hear all about it ;D
      Thank you for your encouragement and kind words.
      Have a wonderful weekend ~ have fun!
    1. Thank you for your encouragement Vicki,
      I'm just posting on my blog then I'm off to active the Etsy shop, but I think it'll be a few days or even into next week before I'm ready to show my wares.
      I'm going to host my first 'giveaway' to celebrate so watch this space as they say :D
      I've just started you're design (wink wink) remember I asked could I use it and you kindly agreed. I don't want to say what it is here because I'll reveal it when it's completed...all very confusing and secret squirrel sounding, but all will hopefully become clear later.
      I'm very happy with it so far, which is very unusual for me. I'm normally very critical of my own work.
      Chat again soon ~ have a great weekend ;D
    1. Hello Barbara,
      Thank you for visiting my place and leaving a lovely comment. I'm having a wonderful time as you can probably tell.
      The journal is something that takes time but makes me delve a little deeper into my world. I've been writing it now for some weeks now, so some of the questions are proving more difficult as I like to try and think of new things each time...ie like what I'm thankful for or my favourite things.
      Sad news on the mushroom I'm afraid...he's no longer around! But that just highlights my thoughts that you have to sieze the moment and since starting my blog this is what I try to do...capturing special things on camera.
      I hope you have a wonderful weekend too...enjoy :D
