I thought it deserved to be captured Emma, Everything else in the garden looks sad but this beauty just keeps producing blooms. It smells gorgeous too ;D
Thanks for stopping by and happy Silent Sunday to you.
They make me smile whenever I look at them Claire ;D Like your garden, everything else in my garden is looking a little sad now except for these little beauties. That's why I wanted to capture them before they too disappeared. Thanks for popping by and I hope your Sunday makes you smile :D
Quite Kate, I'm just worrying how they will get on with the arctic blast that's due this week, bringing snow with it! :( I'm going to appreciate them even more whilst they're here.
Hi Serena, My Grandmother used to use washing up liquid, all frothed up on her rose bushes if they had black spot. They looked all bubbly, but it seemed to work because she had a beautiful rose garden! ;D
The smell virtually knocks your socks off Nan ;D I just wish my laptop could send scratch and sniff! hehe Have a great week and don't worry about me and McMuffy in the snow that's due on Thursday! xoxo
That's one of the things I love about this garden...there's always something putting on a show. I love to go outside and pick something to bring indoors ;D
Have a wonderful week and thanks for taking the time to pop over to my place :D
Well we've had frost last night but they're still hanging in there. I can't believe it really. I can't even find out their name because they've been put into the garden whilst we were away. They're made of tough stuff that's for sure.
Appreciate your visit...Have a great WOYWW! I hope I'll be able to get back to the gang soon ;D xoxo
No words needed for that beautiful photo, just perfect. I thought it must be a photo from earlier in the year, but then I read above that it isn't, and I am even getting envious of the weather up in Scotland! I hope the weather doesn't get icy too soon, they are a joy.
Oh Jez you would be envious today...it's the perfect winter's day. Glorious blue cloudless clear sky with bright sunshine. It is freezing but I'd rather that than grey and wet! ;D The roses have survived the frost from last night which amazes me. They're certainly robust and perhaps I can take a 'leaf' out of their book (hehe didn't mean to add in that pun but couldn't resist...sorry)
Have a great day and let's hope that the arctic blast they are all on about, isn't quite as bad as they are reporting :$ Stay cosy!
That is the mot gorgeous picture Denise - I love your pictures and enjoy your writing. A real pleasure to visit you in COLD Scotland. I have gotten a little behind because I have been busy working on Christmas makes for Visions of Sugarplums. Come see me when you can!!!!! Sandy
Bless you Sandy, I had missed you it has to be said and will nip across to see what you've been up to as soon as I can. I'm juggling everything but today I'm trying to catch up with my online stuff. It's gorgeous out there today, but I'm not venturing outside. I'm content to just look at it from my cosy makeshift desk (the kitchen table) and McMuffy had a brisk walk with my son earlier and now she's curled up in her bed beside the fire. It's a good day all round I think ;D
I hope you're having a good day too. See you soon xoxo
I get so excited to see you here and love to read your thoughts and comments. I always try to answer each one personally (I think it's only polite) ...♥...I truly appreciate your precious time here so thank you ...♥...
Lovely to see such beautiful flowers when most vegetation is falling and turning brown.
