It is one of my feeders Nan, I have four in total I have one on each side of the house, in order to keep the squabbling to a minimum. It's not like there's any need for arguments because there's certainly enough to eat... but there you go. Great to see you here this morning... I was thinking about you yesterday ;D Have a great day xoxo
I know that we're lucky to have so many wonderful birds visiting our place. Early one morning I recorded the woodpecker at work with it's pecking sound and the strange vibration noise it makes... it's incredible. I'm hoping they stay around ;D Thanks for popping in too and I hope you're having a great Sunday
I think we might have three living nearby. The two were regular visitors and possibly nested in a tree in our garden. I know we're so lucky... I love to feed and watch them. In fact I could spend hours watching them which isn't ideal. Thanks for visiting too and I hope you're enjoying your Sunday evening.
Hehe... yeah it can be one downside to having woodpeckers in residence. These two are regular visitors, I've actually managed to photograph them many times, but not actually together. It's not the greatest of shots, but I wanted to show the two together. It costs me a small fortune in bird food, but I think it's worth it to have so many wonderful visitors. Thanks for your call and I didn't even need to feed you ;D Enjoy your Sunday evening
Thanks Kim, It's not the best shot I've got of the woodpecker but it's the best with the two of them together. Thanks for visiting too... I hope you have a lovely Sunday evening. Enjoy!
Thanks Brooke, I was pleased to capture them both on the feeder at the same time. They come and go so it's a little tricky. They're so flighty and spook easily ;D Thanks for stopping by... enjoy your Sunday evening.
Thanks Darren, It's not the greatest of shots but the best one I could capture of the two woodpeckers together at one time ;D Thanks for hosting this fun linky. I hope you've had a brilliant weekend and your week ahead is a good one
I hope you get your wish because they are so fantastic to have. I think there may be three...I know... greedy and I should share with you, but they seem very happy here. I haven't seen a thrush here yet, even though we have masses of snails etc for them, so I suppose we all have our birdie wish list! Good luck and I'll have a word with mine to pass it on to others, there's a table ready and waiting down your way! ;D Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week
Thank you for your wonderfully dear comment on my art page. Indeed, what you said brought tears to my eyes. ((HUGS)) I also love photography--this picture is a keeper! We have a little woody who visits our English elm from time to time--one of these days I'll capture him with my camera! :D
Fabulous and two to boot. We don't have a bird table after one of the dogs tried to climb up on it! (She's big!) We do however live in a very rural area and often see woodpeckers. Lovely birds and I love hearing their tapping carrying up from far down the valley.
I get so excited to see you here and love to read your thoughts and comments. I always try to answer each one personally (I think it's only polite) ...♥...I truly appreciate your precious time here so thank you ...♥...

How wonderful that you saw a pair together! The down side is that your bird-feeder is now probably full of holes... :/
