Morning Mo... I'm back ;D Along with visiting family in Cheshire, we went to Plas Newydd and stayed in a house right on the beach. We also visited Plas Newydd Country House and Gardens in Llanfairpwll, Isle of Anglesey. The artist paint box shown above belonged to Rex Whistler and there are lots of his work on display. As we walked into the house there was a pianist playing classical music and I also saw my first red squirrels out in the grounds. ' It was a great short break. Chat soon xoxo
It certainly looks like it's been loved and worked doesn't it Wendy ;D It belonged to the British artist, designer and illustrator Rex Whistler who died in 1944. It was displayed in the National Trust Plas Newydd Country House and Gardens in Llanfairpwll, Isle of Anglesey, Wales. It was a great day out and I actually saw my first red squirrels in the grounds too. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for visiting. I'm trying desperately to catch up now that I'm home ;D

They certainly have and it's nice to see them on display amongst the paintings. They belonged to Rex Whistler the British artist, designer and illustrator who died in 1944. Thanks for popping in to my place and once I'm sorted after being away I'm going to do the rounds to see what everyone's been up to. Have fun this weekend ;D
I did indeed Wren, his artwork was displayed all around the room and he'd painted a mural in the dining room. I'm trying to catch up and I hope to see you soon. In the meantime have fun and enjoy your week! xoxo
