Fantastic! I do like a good squirrel shot - it's so hard to get close enough without scaring them away, and still manage to compose a focussed shot.
Well this little chap was very happy to sit awhile and nibble on the tasty nuts we'd put out for him. My next challenge will be to try to get a good photo of a robin or wren... now they are flighty!!! Thanks for visiting my place and I hope your weekend is going well. Enjoy x
what an adorable capture, at 18 degrees here today it is hard to imagine you have snow! Though we had our first frost this week too hence my picture.
Oh I have to confess we don't actually have snow here... the photo was taken in Canada. If you look in my sidebar you'll see the log cabin with snow. He was a regular visitor and stayed quite a time to nibble on the goodies on offer! Enjoy your Sunday evening and thanks for popping in to my place ;D
Just been looking. Looks lovely summer or winter. Interesting with the stone chimney too, ours have internal ones that pop out through the roof.
It's one of my favourite places to stay in any season. It has so many special features... an outside jacuzzi which is amazing especially when it's been snowing and the stars are incredible, sauna, beautiful big fire, underfloor heating, amazing scenery surrounding the house along with a lake in front... oh I could go on and on. It has a predominantly French-speaking population and the fine dining in the gorgeous towns nearby is exquisite.... see I could go on and on...! :D
what a lovely Winter photo, captured perfectly x
Thanks, it's one of my favourites... I was a happy bunny when I captured this shot! Have a great Sunday evening and thanks for stopping by
Snow! Wow! And what a cute photo! The squirrels that visit us never stay still enough for a good photo!
No snow here Jo, This shot was captured on the patio of the house in my sidebar in Canada,I've mentioned that I'd love some snow because this last week has been so dark and dismal. I love this little guy ;DThanks for visiting and have a great Sunday
Wow that's a fabulous shot, love the way the snowflakes on the squirrels nose are so sharp - gorgeous photo :-)
I was really pleased that he sat so sit in order for me to focus! They can be very flighty but he seemed to be content to sit and have a tasty snack.Have a great evening and thanks for leaving a comment
This is an amazing picture. Such a sweet little creature. Nice job!

Well I was so fed up with the dark and damp weather this week and was wishing for snow to brighten everything up... then I remembered I'd got this gorgeous little fellow. If you look at the snowy log cabin photo on my sidebar... that's where we fed him. Thanks for visiting... enjoy your Sunday evening
What a superb image. That made me smile. Great hot. Squirrel just looks so curious.
I'm so happy to read your comment John, that's just the kind of reaction I wanted to get from this Silent Sunday photo.I love squirrels and thankfully this one was very willing to have his photo taken.I suppose the nuts and goodies must have been to his taste. Have a great Sunday evening.
Wonderful photo! Valerie
Hehe... thanks Valerie,I adore the little chap and tthankfully he obviously liked the camera ;DHave a wonderful Sunday evening and great week ahead
That's beautiful! It's so hard to get near wildlife to get good photos.
Oh I know Sarah, I've struggled so many times, but this cutie was very willing to sit for the camera. It might have been something to do with the goodies on offer ;DThanks for visiting my place... enjoy your evening
My first thought was what a brill photo, the second one was oh no that snow is a month too early! It's hot here... but you didn't want to know that did you?!!Wren x
Steady Wren... it's not snowing here. This photo was taken in Canada.I've been so fed up with the doom and gloom here recently that I've even been wishing for colder snowy weather! You're right about the heat over with you... I DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT!Anyway today seems a little brighter and yesterday we did finally see sunlight.Enjoy your heat and stay cool (I know you're always cool) Have a great week and thanks for visiting yet again even when I give you abuse xoxo

Nope no snow here Heledd, we've been warm too and extremely dark. The photo was taken in Canada... if you take a peek into my sidebar you will see the log cabin that is home of this cute little guy. That's where I took the photo ;DThanks for visiting and I hope you have a great week.
hello gorgeous, what a cutie! You have snow already? How lovely!
I've been wishing for snow Phoebe in the hope that it would brighten things up here... but we haven't had any yet. There's little flurries forecast for Thursday/Friday.I took the photo in Canada. Have a great week and thanks for popping over to my place ;D

Thanks Jo,I was so pleased he wasn't camera shy? ;DHave a great week
I know Laura, cute isn't he? ;DHave a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by my place once again.xoxo
Looks like he's really enjoying his dinner, and he's not leaving it just because there's a photographer!
That's exactly right Purfylle, he came regularly every day to see what snack was on offer. Just so cute ;DThanks for your comment and visit. Have a great week
That's so awesome that he keeps coming back ;o)
I hope he'll be there once again when we go back ;DI'll be sure to put some goodies out for him. We also have chipmunks but I have to be careful with the door because I'm sure they'd be in if they couldn. I have visions of the Disney movie when the chipmunks came into the house on the Christmas tree ;D
What an amazing shot, his little face is so cute x
Thanks Sarah,I know, I couldn't believe it when he started to come regularly every day and didn't mind me taking his picture.I hope your week is going well... thanks for stopping by my place.
Beautiful photo, how have you had snow already? Thank you for linking up
Slight confession Darren,It's been so dark and dismal last week that I couldn't really take any decent photos so I used one of my favourite one's from Canada.Thankfully it's gone colder here now which means the sun has found us once again! Apologies for my late reply... I hope your week is going well.Enjoy
OH!!! So cute! I love squirrels!! :)
Me too Rita,My next challenge is to capture a red squirrel. I've got photo's but they are just blurred or a tail disappearing into the distance! Thanks for visiting... apologies for my late reply.Enjoy your week and I'll try to visit soon xoxo
Oh isn't he a ham! :)
He certainly knew how to work it Nan ;DI just have to smile every time I look at him Thanks for stopping by... have a great week xoxo
Such a great capture, really hoping we get some snow this year xx
There's reports that we might see some soon but this photo was shot in Canada. It had been such a dismal week that I need something bright to post and he just fitted the bill. It's one of my favourite photos and hopefully when we go back he might reappear. Thanks for visiting... have a great week
OH Wow!! thats so impressive, I regularly chase squirrels and they always leg it!
Hehe... yeah I know just what you mean Tas but this little chap really didn't mind the camera. He must have been very hungry or just loved our snacks. He came to be fed every day. I hope I meet up with him again when we go back to Canada. Thanks for visiting and I hope your have more luck on your squirrel hunt next time ;D
OMg he is so cute and this photo is so perfect!!!! #mysundayphoto
I was rather pleased with myself after capturing him. I think it's one of my favourite photos ;DThank you for stopping by my place... have a good week
that is just the most wonderful shot! i love it. what a cute squirrel.
I'm pretty pleased with it Sherry... he was just adorable Thanks for visiting. Enjoy your week
Aww! What a cutie x
Isn't he just Kim,I watched him daily come and have his little snack. I'm sure he would have come into the house if I'd have encouraged him. Thanks for your visiting and I hope your week is going well.
Lovely photo, I do love a bit of wildlife! X
Oh me too Lucinda and this is one of my favourite photos.Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
Ah so cute!! It's not a red one is it? Gorgeous shot! #MySundayPhoto
I don't think so, but I could be wrong. This little cute one was photographed in Canada and I think he's a grey. I've been lucky enough to see red squirrels here in Scotland and they are more rusty coloured with long tufty ears. Unfortunately I haven't managed to get a decent clear photo of one... but I'll keep trying ;DI hope you're having a great week and thanks for visiting my place
Lovely shot. #mysundayphoto
Thanks Gemma for your visit and commentI hope you have a great week
Aww so sweet. I bet his nuts are cold.
I bet they were... if he had any? I'm not sure if he was a he or a she?I'm not an expert in that department where squirrels are concerned. Thanks for your comical comment and visit.Have a great week
Oh my goodness, what a sweetie! :)
Me or the squirrel Lisa... I'm guessing you mean the squirrel ;DHe was adorable and I was so priviledged to not only have him visit me daily but also to snap a photo of him. Thanks for visiting and I wish you a great week even though we're half way through already. Where does the time go?
Lovely cute squirrel and you have snow! We've only had 2 slight frosts so far but colder weather is forecast. It has been a good year for our local red squirrels with plenty of nuts and plenty of time to gather them.
Nope no snow here but it's getting nearer and on a forecast for the next few days. Not sure it will reach us though... but we'll see. This little cute squirrel was photographed in Canada. I couldn't believe that he came to us daily for his snack. I hope to meet him again. The snowy log cabin in my sidebar shows the patio area that he visits. I'm hoping that I might be lucky to take a photo of the red squirrel here in Aberdeenshire, but they are very tricky quick little critters. I'll keep trying thoughApologies for my late reply to your comment. Thanks for visiting my place and I hope you're having an enjoyable week
I get so excited to see you here and love to read your thoughts and comments.I always try to answer each one personally (I think it's only polite)...♥...I truly appreciate your precious time here so thank you ...♥...
