  1. oh that's brilliant, so atmospheric. It looks like it could have been taken in another century...but then cameras wouldn't have been invented.

    1. We were just walking past Joanna and it caught my eye. I think this tower is in Haddington in East Lothian. I'll have to check further because we visited quite a few towns and places over the weekend.
(plus we had just wandered from a pub after having a meal and freshments... so I'll research a little more)
I plan to write another post about the weekend with lots more photos so hopefully you will revisit to check it out.
In the meantime have a great week and thanks for stopping by my place ;D

    1. Do you think so Darren?
I didn't initially think that but now that you mention it, I suppose the light and shadows do give it that look.
We visited so many places over the weekend and I had lots of photos to choose from...but I'll include others in a further post soon.
Thanks for visiting my place and hosting the link (I really don't know how you manage to visit everyone)

  8. That's stunning - love the colours in the sky against the outlines. Makes me think of lots of children's books - the Famous Five could be exploring around the corner with lashings of ginger beer!

Oh how I loved the Famous Five books Menai... you've brought back so many wonderful memories. I'm sure that Enid Blyton is responsible for me being such an avid reader now.
