Ink Artwork...PPF

Hello everyone,
I'm struggling with the lost of my best furry friend Muffy at the moment and I'm not sure when I will be ready to blog again (if ever) but I thought I needed to come over to thank everyone for their beautiful words, kind comments, and loving messages...plus cards and flowers.
They have helped enormously...so thank you.

This ink drawing was created on the day of Muffy's operation.
I couldn't settle to do much, but to take up the ink pen seem the best option.
With these ink drawings my mind wanders away somewhere...I'm not sure where, which on that particular day was just what I needed.
(It's a grey day here today...which doesn't help with photographing)

Yesterday, I had an hour free and thought I'd revisit my tiger ink drawing that I started a while back. There's still quite a long way to go with this, but it's prefect to just nip in and out of when I feel I need to create some artwork.
(wip)
I'm linking into the Paint Party Friday link.
Thank you friends for being there.

  1. I am so sorry Denise that I haven't visited in awhile and to learn about Muffy. I know how hard it is for you and I am sure that my few words won't help much. Just take it one day at a time and try to keep your mind and hands busy.
Your drawings are absolutely stunning. Use your talent to help you heal~

    Big Hugs~

  4. Oh Neesie. I actually came looking to see if you posted on here or IG, you would be in my blog feed but something drove me to check anyhow. It will have been such a long heartbreaking week for you since the loss of darling Muffin. Sometimes the silence and stillness must seem deafening :( I do hope you will continue to blog, no-one can say (nor do they have the right to even suggest) when you might feel that the sun is beginning to shine again. Just remember, we followed you and Muffin equally - in other words, I do hope you will find it in your heart at some point to blog again as we love you too. We grieve for Muffin, I truly believe she took quite a few pieces of our hearts with her - and we're just folk at the end of a computer keyboard.

Hugs and a whole lot of love

  5. Oh dear Neesie, I am so sorry for the loss of your darling Muffy. I had been away and only recently got back to my blog and art. I know too well the emptiness and heartbreak of losing a beloved pet. I think Di's message above is so beautifully said. You must do what is best for you so if your heart is not into blogging I understand but would miss you and your art so. Sending love and hugs from afar. XO

  7. Sweetheart, I know you're hurting. She will be with you always. I hope that someday you may decide that Muffy wouldn't want you to hurt too long and she'd love to know that maybe someday you'll want to use the love you have for her again and find a puppy that needs you. Remember what happened with Tracey when Mushu died. She was so surprised when a skinny orange cat showed up needing help. Now he fills in the gap, just like Mushu had sent just the right animal who would fill the gap that Mushu left. When you're ready keep your heart and eyes open. I get the feeling Muffy will do her best to give you the right clue. Hugs to you my sweet friend. Much love from Canada.
