With an arctic wind blowing a hoolie around the house, what better photo could I have for My Sunday Photo than one of our wood burner blasting out beautiful warmth with gorgeous flickering light.
It never ceases to bring me pleasure.
For anyone who needs or misses an open fire...here's the video below...
Thanks for visiting my place and to Darren for hosting My Sunday Photo once again.
I hope to see you again soon.
Have a great weekend everyone
Looks so cozy!
ReplyDeleteIt's fantastic... so comforting and I don't even mind cleaning it because it's worth it! :D
DeleteMm, cozy indeed, Neesie, but oh so redundant in our summery Downunder!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your inspiration!

Ooh lucky you Shaz... you certainly wouldn't need it with you, although when I was living in Melbourne there was the odd occasion I would have liked a small wood burner!
DeleteEnjoy your summer :D
That does look lovely! I would definitely like to sit next to that.
ReplyDeleteI certainly have my seat as near as I can to maximise the benefits. The boys say I'm crazy and will melt, but I love it!
DeleteThat looks lovely - just what you need at this time of year!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed as autumn quietly slips away. I have seen snow on the forecast so this wood burner will be very popular!
DeleteIt is a great image and certainly ideal for the newly arrived cold weather. Just looking at the burner makes me warm. #MySUndayPhoto
ReplyDeleteI adore it John and can just stare into the flames. It certainly is a must up here and in fact we have another in another room plus an open fire and central heating plus an Aga. Can't you tell I lived in a hot climate before coming here to Scotland. The forecast has snow on high ground already! :/
DeleteOoh Iam envious. I'd love to replace our open fire with a wood burner.
ReplyDeleteWe had open fires in three rooms when we returned from our overseas travels to hot countries and so we changed two of them to wood burners. We have kept one open fireplace as I do like to hear it crackle etc but the wood burners are so much more cosy and efficient. We have a balloon stuck up the open chimney most of the time to stop the draft whistling down the chimney! I can really recommend a wood burner! :D
DeleteSo nice to get cosy in front of the fire now the colder weather is here
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! We live in a flat with no chimney so very jealous! #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteOooo yes please, I love a cosy fire this time of the year
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
That is so cosy,I want one now X #mySundayphoto
ReplyDeleteI could use that fire right now,, its freezing here! Beautiful photo!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so cosy! I would love a proper fire like that here but I don't think the landlord would agree. hehehe x
ReplyDeleteThat is a warm and cozy scene. The wind is due to pick up here soon enough also. ugh. It never feels warm when the wind blows like that.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing quite like a good wood fire!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cozy shot,
ReplyDeletedearest Neesie, warming and blessings my heart, thank you for sharing it witrh us !
Wishing you a most lovely Sunday evening
XOXO Daniela
Nice! Especially since it's 25 degrees F here right now. I do love a fire and don't get to be around them anymore. Never thought of a virtual fire--LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteI do love that wood burner of yours and it sounds like you need it up there now
ReplyDeleteI grew up in a house with a real coal fire and I still miss it, it was the best to cosy up to on a cold winter's night.
ReplyDeleteHello Dear Neesie, I love your wood fire photo and video... even though its warm weather here, there's still a beautiful feeling that comes from seeing it.
ReplyDeleteCheers :D) xx
Looks so cozy and warm -- perfect for living in Scotland!
