My Sunday Photo... Garden Visitors

It's a crazy time of year for some of our garden visitors right now.
The cacophony of birdsong that starts at an unearthly hour and continues to grow to a crescendo.
You are wide awake now... only to realise that it's 3.30AM!
Then as quickly as it began, everything starts to calm down and what seemed like a marching brass band marching around the premises dies to a soft melody.
Meanwhile, you are left wide away and wonder how you're going to get back to sleep, or whether you might as well start the day!
You've a lot to do so an early start might be a bonus (yawn)
But I wouldn't change this time of year for anything.
Here's one visitor that arrived with his Misses this morning.
The Yellowhammer.
He's quite stunning, but unfortunately I was only able to capture his image through my kitchen window. As you can see he was well aware that I was there.

Here's another cute visitor... the female siskin.
I hope you like seeing some of my visitors.
Have a great Sunday everyone.
I'm linking up with Photalife with My Sunday Photo as usual.

    1. Apologies for my slow response to your comment Darren... but I never received notification that anyone had posted a comment. Only just found everyone!
I take so many photo's and many are blurred or missing the main subject as it flies away just as I click!
Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a super Sunday :D

  2. so the early photographer catches the photo.....lol
Yes it is light early north of the border and it seems easier to start the day at 4 am now than it does to start at 8am in December.

    1. To start the day at 8am in December seems like a gigantic effort Elaine... and not one I relish, although Hubby does bring me that first cuppa which certainly helps.
Have a great Sunday and thanks for popping by :D

    1. It can be a little like that Rita, but it's mainly the light that's difficult to deal with. I'm getting better, but sometimes I just have to put my Hollywood eye shades on!
Enjoy your day and thanks for visiting. I had no idea people had come to visit as they seem to have stopped notification by email now :D

    1. Hmm... sun but I'm still waiting for that heat thingy. I think the controls might be broken. If I knew who to call I would!
Have a great Sunday and apologies for my delay. I now am not notified by email when someone leaves a comment here. I was feeling all lost and unloved, but then I see everyone was just hiding! :D

    1. I really am being very minimal with only posting once a week at the moment. I've got quite a few other projects on the go, so now that the notification by email has been stopped... I didn't even know you were there!
Lovely to see you as always :D

    1. It's full on her at the moment Natasha. I was even up at 4am waving at the window to keep the bigger birds like the Jay, Magpie and Crow away whilst all the tiny fledglings find their way to safety!
Have a great Sunday and enjoy your visitors :D

  8. Oh he is a beauty! And he sure is giving you the “stay right where you are human” look. :) I finally got a new iPad with a normal keyboard! I hope to get back into my blog more and leaving more comments on those I follow. Although I hear Blogger has made some changes so one answers comments they aren’t sent to the commentor’s Email anymore. Oh well I guess. Have a wonderful day Nessie. Hugs

    1. Isn't he Nan! If looks could kill etc. Happy new iPad to you. I hope you're having lots of fun. I'm toying with the idea of getting one at some stage. I've got so many projects on at the moment... I don't think I could take on something else.
You've answered a dilema for me Nan... I wondered why no one came to comment, as I hadn't received any email notification. But now I've found you all!
      Have a fun Sunday :D
