A very quick post today.
I'll maybe explain in a few days, but for now I'll just link up with the Paint Party Friday Link.
It's the sixth bird in my watercolour series.
It was obvious to me that I had to include a robin in my flock.
I thought I'd taken some wip pictures, but it appears I didn't.
Apologies for the rush this week.
Thanks for your visit.
Have a wonderful weekend and make sure you hug the ones you love.
Love your robin, I had one on the kitchen window ledge this afternoon.Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWe have quite a few here Valerie, they are so cute and chirpy aren't they? One has even taken a fancy of flying into our garage... on the lookout for a cosy nest site no doubt.
DeleteGorgeous robin, Denise!!!
ReplyDeleteAww thank you Faye,
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend :D
Fab robin
ReplyDeleteThanks Clare, I couldn't possibly miss having a robin in my collection.
DeleteJust beautiful and just ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteYes, we have quite a few around our place and they are all singing beautifully stating their claim on particular areas.
DeleteLooks like he's just bob-bob-bobbin' along!
ReplyDeleteHe is indeed along with all the others in our flock!
DeleteSuch a darling and lovely little Robin~
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF
Ahh thanks Jan, I just couldn't imagine a UK bird flock without including a robin.
DeleteHappy PPF to you too
such a sweet robin! In the US ours don't look quite like that but I was delighted to see a flock of them the day it was predicted we were to have 6 more weeks of winter (our robins are mostly Spring/summer birds although some stay year round). Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteOh brilliant. Our robin's are very territorial and are rarely seen together. Our robins are notorious for being around at Christmas time, but they are here all through the year. They are currently singing their little hearts out stating their claim to some particular area.
DeleteHappy PPF to you
A beautiful sweetie of a Robin. Such colours are gorgeous... well done Neesie.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs and be gentle with yourself :D)
Thank you so much Sue... I appreciate your kind words. I just had to include a robin in my collection. They are one of my favourite native birds.
DeleteThanks for your visit and I wish you a wonderful weekend ahead.
Your birds in watercolor are simply stunning. I'm not much of a birder, but I do acknowledge beauty. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you Claudia, I seem to be getting a little carried away with the birds, since we returned to the UK. I feed them, watch them, photograph them and now paint them!
DeleteI hope you have a great weekend too.
What a nice and lovely robin.
