Hello Everyone,
I'm rather late posting My Sunday Photo today... but better late than ever.
In this part of Bonnie Scotland spring has finally arrived.
The temperatures, whilst not exactly sweltering have risen which has made everything pop.
The bees have started to buzz in their busy sortie from flower to flower.
The tree buds are just about to burst into leaf.
My magnolia is showing promising signs of actually flowering this time and I've actually given the lawn it's first cut!
So all is good in the garden.
Here's my appreciation of the daffodil.
Happy Earth Day to you and thanks for popping by.
I hope to see you again soon.

Lovely photos, Neesie, especially the one of the bee in the daffodil trumpet. It was almost sweltering here yesterday but we've rain today but April showers bring the flowers! I've seen quite a few bees around the garden recently - a couple of them whoppers too. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Elizabeth, we've had some lovely days during the last week or so, but certainly not sweltering. Today we've had a little shower, which is the first rain we've seen for weeks.
DeleteSome of my plants are positively buzzing with the sound of all the bees visiting... which is wonderful. Enjoy your Sunday xx
Our daffodils are still going strong too. Such a lovely part of spring.
ReplyDeleteI planted a large amount of bulbs last autumn to add to the ones already growing here, so we have a good display now. It's such a welcome sight after a long winter. Enjoy :D
DeleteThe bee photo is fantastic. It’s so hard to capture them when they’re dancing about.
ReplyDeleteYou bet as this was one in about 10 photos where I tried to capture the image. It certainly tests your patience :D
DeleteThat is one happy bee!
ReplyDeleteHe certainly was Debra... and extremely buzzy with it too :D
DeleteOoo your daffodils are gorgeous Nessie! Love that fuzzy bubble butt :) I miss bulb flowers but not enough to move back to cold weather. Enjoy your garden. Have a fab week! Hugs
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if the bulbs might work if you give them a short stay in a freezer or in the bottom of your fridge? Then you could put them into pots! Just a thought ;D
DeleteHave a great week... hugs back to you
Wonderful photographs ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you Jan... Have a great week :D
Deletethe bumblebees around here have been huge!! almost the size of my thumb lol nice to have good weather again :)
ReplyDeleteI've noticed a few rather large bumble bees too. What's that about good weather Jennifer? We are back to being rather chilly!
DeleteI just hope that wasn't summer :(
Love the bright yellow, perfect timing on capturing the bee.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
Thanks Darren,
DeleteI can't believe it's nearly a week before I've got around to replying to your comment. Where does the time go?
Thanks for hosting once again :D
Love daffodils they are so bright and beautiful. I bet you had to be patient to capture the bee on that one #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteThanks Helena, at the moment the weather has changed yet again but we did have some really wonderful spring sun filled days, which brought all the bees out. Fantastic to hear the buzzing in the borders! :D
DeleteBeautiful! I miss all the daffodils from our mountain home.

I've planted masses of bulbs here during the autumn and have to admit grumbled so much whilst on my hands and knees... but now they have all popped up I'm thrilled. Everything is waking up in the garden and it's wonderful to see. I'll share mine with you so that at least you can see some :D
DeleteHow do you get the time to do what you do!!!!! Did I tell you that you are my inspiration?
