Sew Happy... PPF

I haven't picked up a needle or even sewn a button on anything for years, so I had an additional struggle trying to relate to the Make Art That Sells April assignment.
For inspiration I thought I'd take a peak into my old sewing box, which was like opening a treasure chest.
Since then I've been sketching ever since.
These assignments have certainly taken me on a journey of discovery in more ways than one!
Thanks Lilla Rogers
I even had a play in Photoshop (although the word play maybe stretching things a little) but I've still got so much to learn.
I'm entering this sewing tray for the Make Art That Sells April assignment.
I'll also link up with the Paint Party Friday
Thanks Eva and Kristin for hosting an inspiration link.
The sun is shining here, so I'm off out to play!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone

    1. Thanks so much. I had difficulty with the initial idea as I haven't done any sewing for years. Not even to put a button on, but I finally got started. Now I have lots of ideas that I wish I'd had earlier... typical!

    1. Wow thanks for the superstar bit, but I feel I have quite a lot further to go yet. If you wanted to just try out the MATS assignment there is one for only £25.00 for a Global Talent Search. Here's the details

Just to clarify I'd not on any commission for sales or incentives haha! Have a great week :D

    1. I've not heard of Painter Jennifer. I'm afraid I'm an old dinasaur as I paint using the traditional method. Paint and paintbrushes. It's bad enough for me to try to do the odd tweak in Photoshop in the latter stages :?

    2. Its mostly known in North America since Corel is a canadian company, most people when I mention Painter here don't know what it is unless they do a lot of digital paint :)

  12. Good grief, I thought at first it was a fabric picture. Excellent art. Blessings, Janet PS. I forgot about Spoonflower, that was so long ago. Good idea from Giggles.

    1. Thank you... you are too kind Sandy,
At first I couldn't think what to do for the design, so I just painted what was in my very old unloved sewing box!
