Wow - and even your palette looks like a cool picture!
Sometimes I like the palette more than the piece of art heheThanks for stopping by and I wish you a great week ahead
wow ... how clever are you!
Hardly Jaime...I had my daughter giving me instructions and she tweaked where necessary. But that's a secret just between you and me ;DGreat to see you once again. I hope you have a fantastic week ahead
Wow! That is awesome!! You are very talented!
Aww thanks Kim but I had a lot of help with using these inks for the first time. I think I will be using them again though ;DThanks for stopping to leave a lovely comment. I hope your weekend was great and the coming week even better!
I could reach out and take that off the page! Nice that you're getting some painty time too!
Well hello Julia,Great to see you. This is the first piece of painting I've done for quite some time but I hope to do much much more. Have thick fog outside yesterday helped. I couldn't see the garden never mind do any gardening. Glad to say it's lifted this morning. Oh the joys of a Scottish summer ;DMaybe I'll pop over on Wednesday with some more painting? Fingers crossed Have a great week and thanks for stopping by. I know how busy you are so I appreciate it.
And then there's my comment......looks like someone has ice cream on their mind. :) Does look yummy and your palette too.
I think I should have painted a bowl of soup more like it Nan. We were in a thick fog for most of the day! (It's lifted for today thankfully). At least the ice cream wouldn't melt too quickly though ;DI hope you had a good weekend and are ready for a fun packed week ahead?
Hehe...thanks Laurie,I can't believe that I actually got around to some painting! Maybe the thick fog outside helped ;DI wish you a fantastic week ahead with lots of ice-cream too Enjoy!
Brilliant painting skills!
With a lot of help from my daughter Fiona,The inks are her favourite ;DThanks for visiting my place...I hope you have a great week ahead
Oooooo...love the colors!! So pretty! :)
hehe...Thanks Rita,They are pretty but not one's that I would normally use so it was good to stretch myself. Lots of help from my daughter though. She's an expert with these inks I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for a fun packed week ahead ;D
Wow lovely painting and photo :)
Thanks so much...it's wonderful to receive such great feedback. I'm always a little nervous painting but I had my daughter to hand assisting me ;DI hope your weekend was a good one and that your week ahead is even better!
Hehe...yeah my daughter is! Ha! She kept a beady eye on me and stepped in when needed. I hope the weekend went well and your in for an action packed fun week ahead ;DThanks for stopping by...enjoy!
Well thanks Tracy but my daughter is the one with the talent and patience to lead me through it. She stepped in when needed but that's a secret just between you and me ;DHave a fantastic week ahead and thanks for stopping by my place once again.
Love the colours and the ice cream looks good enough to eatThank you for linking up
Thanks Darren,If we hadn't been in thick fog yesterday I might have indulged in an ice-cream, but we were thinking more in the lines of soup! One of the joys of a Scottish summer I suppose. Thanks for hosting...it's really a fun linky ;DHave a great week and hopefully no more thunderstorms
Oh, what talent! I admire anyone who has an eye for colour and detail like that. It looks good enough to eat!
Hmm...not sure about that but we had fun and we're quite pleased with the outcome. I've never used the inks before but my daughter loves them so it was good to work together on this one. Not sure we'd have shared the ice-cream though ;DThanks for popping over to my place...have a great week
