Hi Victoria, He was just wanting to gallop and oh boy could he gallop! It was a fantastic day and one I'll never forget. Thanks for visiting my place and I hope you have a great week ahead.
Well I haven't done it since but you should give it a go if you get the chance. It was certainly a fantastic day. Great to have you pop over to my place... thanks I hope you're week ahead is filled with fun.
I did indeed... it was a fantastic day and one that I'll never forget. Even when the heavens opened and we got soaked. The horse was the feistiest one I've ever ridden... thankfully I remained seated thoughout!
He was an Appaloosa horse that is best known for its colorful leopard-spotted coat pattern. He was stunning and a little scary if I am truthful. You know that saying... feel the fear but do it anyway... well that's certain what I did. I'm so glad that I did though. It was a very special day. The sky was very black and stormy which added to the drama... later it poured down but it still didn't dampen the day. Thanks for visiting my place. Have a great week.
I was a little scared myself if I'm truthful Michaela, He was a little feisty and just wanted to gallop. Great to have you pop by my place. I hope you have a fun packed week ahead.
Well you'll know what a great fun thing it is to do Terra, I'll never forget it. It was certainly an adrenalin rush. Thanks for leaving a lovely comment... have a great week.
It was both terrifying and thrilling all at once John, My horse was very keen shall we say and we got from one end of the long beach to the other in record time. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.
He was a very handsome fella ;D I'd never seen a Appaloosa before so was thrilled when he was given me to ride. Thanks for your visit. I hope you have a great week ahead.
It was Steph... although a little scary too ;D I've never galloped so fast in all my life! Thanks for your comment and I hope you have a great week ahead.
oh wow thats a dream of mine ride a horse on a beach, one obstacle I am terrified of Horses. My son has lessons and I am dying to have one to help me get over my fear, what a stunning horse x
As long as you have a good instructor and a kind older experienced horse then you should give it a go... especially if it is a dream. Feel the fear but do it anyway... isn't that the saying. Good luck and thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. Have a great week
It's totally exhilarating Darren, I'm sure you and your girls would love it. Just don't get a feisty chap like the one I had for your first time! Thanks for hosting and managing to stop by to leave a comment. Have a wonderful week ;D
Oh your Appaloosa horse is Stunning! What a wonderful ride that must have been. He looks full of himself with the wind blowing his main like that... Great Shot!!! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah DottyA he was keen to go... I was just hoping that the camera would catch us before we tore off! Thankfully it did ;D Have a terrific Thursday and thanks for stopping by my place.
He was chomping on the bit as they say Nan, As soon as the camera clicked he just went for it. Thankfully I remained with him ;D I hope you're having a great week xoxo
We rode through thick bush land first then came through an opening onto the beach... a brilliant organised hack. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're having a fun packed week
Aaah Neesie! That must have been amazing!! How i wish it wasn't wordless Sunday....I'll bet you could tell us so much about that day..:) I rode a horse into a lake once..does that count? :) We went deep enough up to his back and i slipped off the saddle (on purpose )and paddled around him a little bit then got back in the saddle before we walked out....gosh that was fun. Thanks for the memory. Hugs! deb
Riding a horse into a lake certainly does cound Deb ;D You sound like your a brilliant rider. I probably got as wet as you though when that sky broke and the heavens opened. I think that's what we making the horse a little wired! I too have fond memories of that day, so it's good to share to revive the memory. Great to see you... have fun this week xoxo
I did have a great time Zena, but I think as I get older I'm beginning to think about all that could go wrong. I just try to push them aside. Thanks for your visit... It's always great to hear from you. Have a great week :D

I can imagine what he must look like once he's galloping with all the markings moving at top speed. I didn't notice them whilst we were galloping I must admit. I wish I'd have had an action shot taken though. The beach was deserted and stretched for miles and miles. Just brilliant to gallop along. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
He was certainly chomping on the bit Sara, especially when the sky started to rumble! A great day even when the heavens opened. Thanks for visiting my place... have a great week
