Hi Padaek, After living in the Middle East and then Australia... as you can imagine my UK garden is a complete contrast. I'm still learning and trying to remember everything. It's an ongoing project. Thanks for stopping by... enjoy your Wednesday
The old stone wall is part of the old farm barn... the cow shed. It's granite as is the other ruined barn. I love it and just wish I had more. Happy WW to you too ;D
It does take quite a lot of work but I think I'm making progress. I do enjoy being outside, especially if the weather is good. I've been back in the UK for a year now and I've seen it through all of the seasons. Hopefully it'll get easier as time goes on. Well I'm hoping so anyway! Enjoy WW
No matter what is going on with the day or how I feel, it always improves if I spend sometime outside. Sometimes not even doing anything... just stopping and smelling the roses as they say! I hope you're enjoying WW ;D
After leaving it for over 12 years there's been plenty of work over this last year to reign it back in but all worthwhile. Somethings have gone mad whilst I've lost others. It's an interesting journey trying to remember gardening in the UK after my absence. As you can imagine gardening in the MIddle East and Australia was very different. Have a great day.
That's a beautiful garden you have there! And you look great in it. I don't really like gardening. So I use the oven timer. I 'do' my gardening work every Wednesday morning for 60 minutes.
Thanks for your lovely comment on Momfever! I really appreciate it. I'm glad I made you smile.
Thanks for your lovely comment Momfever, but I have to confess I do rope the family in to help at times... when they're not hiding that is ;D I've never heard of anyone using an oven timer to garden before. It gave me quite a giggle. I dread to think how overgrown my place would be if I only gave it one hour a week. Hey but the birds and bees would love it... a wild garden. Have a great day whatever you get up to... have fun!
Well that's just one angle Leovi, It's quite a large plot with two lawns with borders at the front of the house. Then there's the one at the side of the house which is the largest (partially seen in this photo) and then there's the other side that is running wild just now that I plan to have as a vegetable garden with greenhouse. Lots of work ahead but it's good to be outside if the weather is suitable. Have a great weekend.
Shall I put you out of your misery Colleen, It's a double hollyhock. I don't usually wear a hat but I got so fed up with my hair being blown all over the place that I decided that it would be a good idea. It worked brilliantly. (previously used in Australia... so slightly different here in Scotland) My daughter took the photo and my son said I looked like a real gardener! I told him that I hadn't been playing for the last year ;D Have a great day and hopefully the sun will shine this weekend.
Well hello Ileana in Romania, Great to see you and thanks for stopping by to comment. I really appreciate it ;D Have a fantastic day whatever you have planned I hope it's enjoyable.
Hehe... happy days Jennifer, Sun and warmth spending time outside amongst the flowers. I'm trying to hang onto summer for as long as I can. Enjoy your day
The greenery is about to take over the whole of that lovely wall if I don't get a wriggle on Cathy. The ivy has gone mad over the summer. I'm just waiting to make sure the birds have all left before I trim it back a little. I was away this last Wednesday hence not linking up and being behind with my replies. I'll try not to let it happen again ;D Have a great day and thanks for your visit
I get so excited to see you here and love to read your thoughts and comments. I always try to answer each one personally (I think it's only polite) ...♥...I truly appreciate your precious time here so thank you ...♥...
Such a beautiful garden! Looks like it's really well maintained and so worth it. :)

Very nice garden, while beautiful and entertaining it does seem like plenty of work to keep up with.

I'm drawn to the red in the center but can't quite make out what it is. I like the hat!
