I couldn't resist capturing them Louise, all pretty in pink! I nearly posted a photo of the toad I nearly stepped on last night but thought the flowers would be more suitable... and far prettier ;D
I'm surprised that the little stems were strong enough to support them Tara, I love the smile-ability of them... they never cease to make me smile when I look at them. Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by.
They are indeed Sherry... please don't ask me the name because I wouldn't have a clue, I've always thought they look like gorgeous tiny dresses whether for ballerina fairy's or whatever. Great to have you visit and thanks for leaving a lovely comment. Enjoy your Sunday
Yes I had to come clean Sarah because my sister reads my blog... I'd be sure to be found out if I didn't say they were her's. I'm sure they really are prize winning if the right people were to see them. They're huge! Thanks for your visit... have fun and enjoy your Sunday.
Thanks Helen, I couldn't decide which one to post so I did them both! I was going to post a photo of a toad that was visiting my garden the other night. I nearly trod on... eww.... and he was hardly a prince! Have fun and enjoy your Sunday
I must have known Cathy... I'm glad you like them. I can tell you they are much better than the toad photo that I was going to post. Have a great Sunday.
They are indeed Kim, my sister has surpassed herself this year because these beauties are from last year. She nurtured them over winter and now they are rewarding her for her kindness. Thanks for visiting... have a great Sunday
Well I wish I could take credit for them Mary... but all the credit goes to my sister. They're in her garden. I do have some but they're not as humongous as these. Because I live in the North East of Scotland we've worked it out that I'm about a month behind her plants and blooms. Thanks for popping by and leaving a comment. Enjoy your Sunday
They are beautiful aren't they Channon? I wouldn't say I'm really in to pink but these beauties certainly win you over. Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by my place.
Very Gorgeous Fuchsias Denise! We have a few in our front garden but none like these as I have no where to protect them over winter. Are they trained Standards? :D
Thank you for your comment on Wee Man's holiday posts, he was so happy to hear from you and Muffy ("but I wouldn't like licks for real granny"), lol. Wasn't I brave posting that photo of me!? I just thought, 'Oh blow it! Who really cares how I look?!' It was a fantastic holiday. We are very fortunate to have been able to do it; charitable organisations can be very kind. We have a Summery Summer day today!! Amazballs! Hope the weather is being kind to you too :D Enjoy the rest of your Sunday xxx
Well I have a few myself but they're nothing like these fine specimen's Mo. My sister puts them into her greenhouse for over the winter so that's a help. Our's would freeze and not only in winter either. She does have Standards but I think these two were bushes... she'll no doubt correct me if I'm wrong. It was my pleasure to write to Wee Man but I must confess I never normally write Muffy sends licks but thought he might like that... Oh well I'll remember it for next time. I'm the same as you over posting photo's of myself, but mine isn't that I'm bothered about people seeing me... it's more that I hate having my photo taken and I never like the results either. Yours on the other hand is great. Wee Man did a great job and it is lovely to see you :D I did want to send Wee Man a little something for his birthday but I couldn't find you address early enough and then I was away. Maybe I'll get around to finding something suitable and it can just come as a surprise. Yep Amazballs here too because it was a glorious day up until about an hour ago. We've been outside since we ate our breakfast out there this morning. I'm not going to waste one minute if we're lucky to see the sun. It'll be autumn before we know it. Maybe August will be our turn! I do hope so ;D I'm doing as I'm told and enjoying the rest of my Sunday. Tums full from roast dinner and a wee glass of wine so now it's settle down and relax. Chat soon. Hugs to you and a salute to Wee Man ;D
Well now that you say that Karen, I did sketch some fuchsia's last year, but only a quick drawing in my journal. I think you might be right though... perhaps I should paint them again. I'll let you see them if I do, but I think Mother Nature paints them so well, that maybe I shouldn't attempt to copy them. Happy Sunday to you too. Thanks for your visit.
I did indeed Sandy, I only found the sun for about 30 minutes and then Aberdeenshire weather took over. I must have inadvertently packed it and taken it with me. Meanwhile, I believe the weather here improved!!! Only for it to disappear upon my return. I must have been really bad or wicked in my previous life because the sun only shines on the righteous and that obviously isn't me! I hope you've had a great weekend and continue to enjoy your Sunday evening. Thanks for your visit ;D
They are so pretty and delicate looking... but they survived the winter so they're certainly more hardy than they look. Have a great week and thanks for your comment.
Oh and boy do I need warmth Tracey, it's been a really bad summer up until yesterday. I've been out in the garden all day today to make the most of it. I hope you're having perfect weather too. Thanks for your visit and comment.
Ahhh.... now if there was a prize Jade for spotting the little wee beastie... you'd win it. I wondered if anyone would notice it and you're the only one that has mentioned it. Thanks and well done with spotting Incy Winsy! Have a great week
Hi Neesie, What beautiful photographs. The vibrancy of the colours in the second photo is amazing! Where was it taken? It reminds me of somewhere tropical. Thanks so much for linking up to #MyAugustPhoto! Looking forward to seeing more of your photographs. Polly :) Our Seaside Baby
Thank you Polly, I just couldn't resist capturing them. No tropical exotic location but my sister's garden in the North West of England. I look forward to linking up again... thanks for hosting. I hope you have a creative week ahead.
I get so excited to see you here and love to read your thoughts and comments. I always try to answer each one personally (I think it's only polite) ...♥...I truly appreciate your precious time here so thank you ...♥...

Gorgeous blooms. I am glad your summer has finally arrived- everyone needs some summer!
ReplyDeleteNeesie, those flowers are so pretty, I love how they hang upside down, and of course I love that you caught a spider enjoying them too!
ReplyDeleteAha, you even caught a little spider in one of them... gorgeous flowers - they always look like ballerina dresses to me!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pinks! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! They are so pretty and I love the colours as well. xx
ReplyDeleteReally pretty. We used to call them ballerinas when we were small x
