We had a fantastic crisp sunny woodland walk today.
As you can see little Muffin had a wonderful time, as long as I kept up with her.

Thanks for your visit.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend... enjoy!
Muffin looks like she is enjoying her walk. I'm a little envious of your snow though - we got hardly any here!
ReplyDeleteMuffin loves her adventures especially through our local woods. She can walk an amazing distance even with those little legs!
DeleteWe only had the one dusting of snow, but the temperature has stayed so low that it's stayed with us. Glad we had some but I don't need any more. I'm looking forward to spring now.
Loads of snow! I'm jealous - Devon is rubbish for snow!
ReplyDeleteWell no not really Andy, just enough to be in awe as it fell, but not enough to be inconvenient. The temperature has remained low so it is still lying around. Very picturesque.
DeleteWhat a lovely view! Sadly we had only the lightest dusting of snow here this week - although for me it was a relief to be able to drive ...
ReplyDeleteIt's been the same here too Tim, but it's just that the temperature has remained just around freezing that it's still hanging around.
DeleteNow we've seen some I don't need to see anymore... I'm waiting for spring.
Oh lucky Muffin! Not a flake in Cornwall, I really wanted to be able to share a beautiful photo like this.
ReplyDeleteWell we didn't have much snow, but what bit there was stayed around due to very low temperatures. It was perfect to see it fall and stay, but not so much to cause disruptions.
DeleteMuffin had a great walk and then crash out in her bed next to the wood burner. Who says it's a dog's life!
Love that shot, and the low sun. Looks like you got just enough snow to make it fun but not impassible! We got very little snow, so this looks gorgeous!

That's exactly right Tracey... snow but no inconvenience. It's all disappeared now so it was nice to appreciate it yesterday.
DeleteIt looks like a gorgeous place to walk and a little bit magical with that covering of snow!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is a fantastic place and so near to home, which makes it perfect. Muffy loves her adventures there.
DeleteWhat a gorgeous place for a walk. The snow makes everything look so pretty! x
ReplyDeleteIt's a great place to walk Kim and Muffy loves it. You're right the snow just added a little more magic!
DeleteHi Neesie, it looks like a winter wonderland. Our dogs would refuse pointblank to walk in snow, they hate anything too cold (or hot). Muffin is not just a very cute dog, but a very brave one too.
ReplyDeletexx
I think the prospect of so many amazing smells and fellow dog meetings outweighed the sold paws! Normally she hates being cold.
DeleteThe fact that she curled up next to the wood burner straight after was another bonus.
What a great capture, I would love this walk too #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteIt is brilliant and so close to home Jane. We are very lucky to have it and try to appreciate it as much as we can.
DeleteWhat a gorgeous photo! I'm very jealous of your snow. It does rather look like she is looking at you disdainfully and telling you that you're too slow!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, there wasn't much snow, but it stayed for over a day with low temperatures. Muffin is either in front wanting you to catch up or she's dillydallying behind sniffing at everything. I used to get frustrated with her taking so long, but now with her being 13, I think what the heck... it's her time and she should go at whatever speed she wants.
DeleteSee now that's the photo I was hoping for but the snow didn't last
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
Our temperatures remained very low for a day or so, which kept the little snow we had stay. It had all disappeared this morning, so I'm glad that we were able to enjoy, appreciate and capture it!
DeleteThanks for the link once again.
I love this shot, such gorgeous light it makes you want to walk to the end x
ReplyDeleteWe are very lucky to have such brilliant walks nearby Sarah. They are all fantastic and Muffy loves them. She can walk remarkable far even with her little legs.
DeleteAw i love this! We took our dog out for a walk in it. He wasnt too pleased though lol #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteMaybe you had more snow than us Martyn... ours was only a light covering and frozen over, so it wasn't hard work.
DeleteIt's all gone today, so I'm glad that we were able to enjoy and capture it.
I'm so jealous of your snow! We're down on the south coast and never get any. Lovely pic #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteThis was the first flurry that we've seen all year Sarah.
DeleteI must admit I love to see it fall and thankfully it wasn't too thick.
It has all disappeared today.
That looks very wintry and atmospheric, no wonder you both enjoyed your walk Neesie.
ReplyDeleteIt was only about 1 degree, but there was a little warmth in the sun. It's all gone today and the temperature has risen, but along with that comes drizzle. I'd much rather it be freezing and bright.
DeleteLove dogs. Love snow. Love this photo!
ReplyDeleteSorted then... My work is done Martin :D
DeleteShe's got the cutest butt!
ReplyDeleteSandy xx
ME... oh you mean her :/
DeleteI wish mine was that cute Sandy! (haha)
Muffin does looks like she's enjoying it! What a beautiful walk. Our dog used to love it too, although she used to try and eat it! #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteShe loves these walks Tara... we are very lucky to have so many great walks right near our place. I didn't see her trying to eat it though. I don't think there was enough on the ground.
DeleteLove it - looks like great fun, my dog went mad for the snow and was very disappointed when it didn't stay long!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that brilliant. No wonder we all go a little crazy when we see it. We know we have to enjoy because before we know it... it disappears.
DeleteWhat a beautiful scene. We haven't had a single bit of snow here! It looks gorgeous looking through the woods. Just enough snow to set the winter scene & look nice, but not enough to be inconvenient! #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly it Sarah... it was just enough snow fall to be perfect for the day and then it disappeared. Now that I've seen it I don't necessarily want to see more. I think I'll look forward to spring!
Deletelooks like a great place to walk :) bundled up of course :p
ReplyDeleteWell wrapped up Jennifer, but it was just above freezing so not too bad at all. All gone now though, so I'm glad that we were able to get out there and capture the scene.
DeleteHave a great week
yeah most of the snow is gone here too, just left were it was piled up. oddly felt like first day of spring today
DeleteI'm very jealous that you had snow! Muffin is adorable! #CheckOutThatView is back if you fancy linking up x
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that we only had the one day and it was just a little flurry. If we have more then I'll gladly share it.
DeleteI tried to link up, but for some reason it wouldn't let me. No idea why?
Have a great week.
"Stop taking pics and hurry up, Mum!" That's what ms McMuffy is saying. :) It is a pretty pic of the fluffy muffin and gorgeous sun. Warm hugs from me and the Girls, who were sunbathing on the porch today in 75F.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he's saying "Come on".
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a pretty snowy walk, glad she enjoyed it :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photo :)
ReplyDeleteI 💙 this shot! 📸 Great capture of such a beautiful scene.
