My Sunday Photo... Cheers

Cheers everyone!
The sun finally remembered where we live and came to visit this evening.
We hadn't seen sight nor sound of it for nearly a week.
As soon as it appeared the temperature went up and we went out!
Enjoying it's warmth whilst we sipped a nice glass of red.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, whatever weather comes your way.
I'm linking up with My Sunday Photo over at Photalife.com

  1. How perfect that looks. It's been the same for us, I went for a long walk over the moor with my eldest son was the sun went down.

    1. What a beautiful way to end your day...one to one...such special times.
I'm glad we appreciated our sunset because we haven't seen it since.
      Have a great week :D

  2. Hi Neesie, it looks like you know how to celebrate! Perfect and not a finger print on the glasses!

    1. Well I did wonder about fingerprints, but it was after I'd posted it...plus we'd already eaten a meal just before. Thankfully they were'nt too bad. It's one of my hubby's fetishes (amongst many other's) to polish up glasses before we use them...sometimes even to the detriment of the hot meal!

    1. It was very civilised Kim, and I'd have liked a few more summery sunny evenings, but unfortunately we're back to rain showers today. Ho hum!

  9. Sunshine and red wine (Australian?) - a great combination.

Thanks for the comment on my writing blog - if you revisit it, you will see a couple of posts before "In a Big Country" are about Scotland.

    1. Not this time Stewart...it was Californian Merlot. We like to globe trot with our wine choices. It was very good I have to say. Maybe Australian next time. That's if the sun remembers to come back. It disappear that evening and hasn't been seen since. Such is life in the UK!
