Cheers everyone!
The sun finally remembered where we live and came to visit this evening.
We hadn't seen sight nor sound of it for nearly a week.
As soon as it appeared the temperature went up and we went out!
Enjoying it's warmth whilst we sipped a nice glass of red.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, whatever weather comes your way.
I'm linking up with My Sunday Photo over at Photalife.com
How perfect that looks. It's been the same for us, I went for a long walk over the moor with my eldest son was the sun went down.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful way to end your day...one to one...such special times.
DeleteI'm glad we appreciated our sunset because we haven't seen it since.
Have a great week :D
Hi Neesie, it looks like you know how to celebrate! Perfect and not a finger print on the glasses!
ReplyDeletexx
Well I did wonder about fingerprints, but it was after I'd posted it...plus we'd already eaten a meal just before. Thankfully they were'nt too bad. It's one of my hubby's fetishes (amongst many other's) to polish up glasses before we use them...sometimes even to the detriment of the hot meal!
DeleteQuite right too Denise! May the sun stay with you a while longer. #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteOops well thanks for the sentiment John, but it's been missing ever since I took that photo. I just hope it remembers to come back soon.
DeleteThat looks like the perfect way to enjoy the sun
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
We're very good at seeking out the sun here Darren...it's a rare thing and must be treasured!
DeleteIt was glorious wasn't it, when it arrived.
ReplyDeleteBut it left us and hasn't been back since Emma (sigh)
DeleteI believe it might be making an appearance next week...fingers crossed.
That looks amazing. Simply bliss. Cheers xx
ReplyDeleteIt was very nice whilst it lasted, but over all too soon Susan, because when it set it forgot to come back!
DeleteThat looks the best way to spend a sunny evening x
ReplyDeleteIt was very civilised Kim, and I'd have liked a few more summery sunny evenings, but unfortunately we're back to rain showers today. Ho hum!
DeleteNot a bad way to celebrate. Hope it stays. #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Cheryl it didn't. We haven't seen it since that photo was taken. Ho hum...I just hope it remembers to come back!
DeleteSunshine and red wine (Australian?) - a great combination.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my writing blog - if you revisit it, you will see a couple of posts before "In a Big Country" are about Scotland.
Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Not this time Stewart...it was Californian Merlot. We like to globe trot with our wine choices. It was very good I have to say. Maybe Australian next time. That's if the sun remembers to come back. It disappear that evening and hasn't been seen since. Such is life in the UK!
DeleteI'm really looking forward to being back in the uk and doing exactly this next week

I hope you have a great trip and the sun shines. Happy Birthday when it arrives :D
DeleteI have to confess, mine would be the nearly empty one! #MySundayPhoto
