We certainly have Sarah... in fact we're had better weather here than we've had all summer. I adore autumn but with the weather we've been having, it's the best one yet!
We have witnessed so many beautiful sunrises and sunsets in this house. I'm now trying not to take photos unless they are different in some way because I have quite a collection now.
(Hehe) Great minds think alike Sherry. We have some stunning sunsets recently. I totally agree although I have to admit I think the light in the southern hemisphere might just have the upper edge.
I thought we might have a few sunset pictures on MySundayPhoto this week as they have been so good over the last few days. The silhouettes of the buildings and trees makes this so beautiful.
It's actually one of many that we've witnessed during the last few weeks. I'm having to restrain myself from photographing anymore unless they are different in some way because I must have hundreds. I can't resist them ;D
Thank you Cheryl, I just can't resist them. I can be eating my evening meal and the sky will put on its show and I'll try to ignore it, but then it's just too much of a pull... and I have to put down my cutlery and grab my camera and run outside. I think I might have a problem? :/
I'd never noticed that Sandy but now you mention it... you are so right it certainly does look like praying hands. It is, in fact, the ruined farm outbuilding that is situated in our garden. It is granite stone and we're in the process of revealing the cobbled floor.
Thank you so much Nikki, The building is in our garden and outside of the garden is farmland. It's great to have the space to see and appreciate the huge sky putting on its colourful display.
Thanks but I've heard that we personally are in for a wet week. We can't complain because I can't remember when we last had rain. I just hope that it doesn't forget to stop!
I get so excited to see you here and love to read your thoughts and comments. I always try to answer each one personally (I think it's only polite) ...♥...I truly appreciate your precious time here so thank you ...♥...
Fantastic shot, just look at that light, haven't we had some beautiful evening this week x

DeleteThat's gorgeous, the sky is an amazing colour and love how the sun is just visible x

DeleteThat looks magical and spiritual all at once, quite stunning
ReplyDeleteI took the sunset to include the folly (as we call it) an old ruined barn that is part of our garden. I think it adds something to the sunset.
Deletesunset neesie? just like my photo this week. gorgeous in every hemisphere:)

What a beautiful sky! I'm guessing sunset rather than sunrise?
ReplyDeleteYou'd be right Sarah... it was a sunset.
DeleteAutumn gold during the day and at night?!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Neesie

Yes, amazing colours during this last week... although our leaves have hardly any signs of putting on their autumn colour display.

ReplyDeleteYes, I thought the same for this week.
DeleteThe building is a ruined stone barn that is in our garden. It's quite a focal point.

A pretty silhouette against a beautiful sky :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa, I was very pleased with the outcome after leaving my evening meal to capture it!
DeleteBeautiful - I know it is a structure but it looks like hands praying!
ReplyDeleteSandy xx

I agree with Sandy I can see hands praying too! Lovely! #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteMe too now... I'll not look at it the same again.
DeleteI do feel this place is special... maybe it's more special than I realise.
Wow! What a stunning shot! I hope, it's going to be that lovely this week again. :) xx
