Giveaway Grand Draw...The winner is.....drum roll please.....

Drum roll please......
So here comes the 'Giveaway' prize draw....with the local celebrity as promised!
What do you mean? ~ "oh its only her"....I'll have you know she charges an exorbitant appearance fee. Fresh chicken no less and I'm beginning to think she was actually working the system, because we had to rehearse for hours ;D
I began to think she'd pop before we got to actually picking a winning name.
Here's what we did due to the Rafflecopter not working (if only it had I'd have saved myself HOURS of intensive training) I popped on one of Mufftypups socks onto her right paw as she's right pawed...then attached a band of sticking tape around the paw. Now this sounds simple enough, but let me tell you it wasn't.
Firstly she didn't want to wear a sock...secondly when I tried to get her to walk across the names on the floor she walked around them....thirdly when she did manage to walk across them, none of the names stuck to the tape (Grrr....that's me not her by the way)
Fourthly...by the time I wrapped so many pieces of sticky tape around the paw she could hardly lift it!
Fifthly (is that a word...oh well you know what I mean) as I say I think she was working the system because she can be switched on when she wants to be but she realised if I pick this name then the chicken will vanish!
ANYWAY....we got there in the end (phewph) and there is a winner!
Now fess up if you went straight to the video to see who won....yes I thought you might ;D
If you didn't....well done you....so off you go and see if you're the winner.....

I'd written all the names on the paper and as you can see one stuck to her sock....so CONGRATULATIONS 505 Whimsygirl!
I'll contact you directly to check which designs you'd like including into your pack of six cards and for your address of course.
Before you all go off in a huff, I'd like to thank you all for indulging in my crazyness. I'm thrilled so many of you wanted to take part and not only hit the follow button, but left such lovely comments.
They all mean so much to me....
If you're distraught and unable to carry on for the day, then don't dispair because they are available in my Etsy shop now...
Have a wonderful weekend everyone ~ have fun ;D

    1. I was so embarrassed when the Rafflecopter didn't work, so I thought I'd make up for it with a fun prize draw and not just picking the name out of a hat!
It was quite a task though, but I think worth the effort!
She wasn't freshly groomed and had wanted a manicure and pedicure before her appearance....you know what these diva's can be like but we had no time.
By the way Mufftypup says thank's for the compliments ^..^

    1. LOL...I did wander if she'd be able to lift her paw never mind walk when I had to wrap so much tape around. She wasn't amused as you can see by her face but the chicken talked her round.
I couldn't believe it after the draw she went back to all the names and just rolled over them in sheer delight...maybe I should have wrapped her body with tape....nah...maybe not such a good idea :$
Glad you enjoyed watching and thanks again for popping over here.
I'm away to a gallery today but I hope to visit later.
Have a great day ~ Happy WOYWW to you too :D

I'm sure it would have been easier if the Rafflecopter had worked as it should have...just think I could have spent the whole day...yes THE WHOLE DAY...drawing instead!
Still it was a laugh wasn't it?
I just hope Whimsygirl enjoys it too :D
Have a terrific Thursday...I'm off to a gallery with a friend so they may be a post later in the week about it.

  12. That would have to be the cutest way to pick a winner. Lucky whimsygirl.
I went to check out your Etsy store and love it, I bet they sell like hotcakes.
I am struggling to finish my pencil drawing for APR, so I know what you mean about maybe doing it fortnightly. We have school holidays coming up and I can never do art then, bummer.
I use Firefox and it is currently having a lovers tiff with Blogger, so don't even know if I will be able to post before Saturday.

Have a great week and enjoy your heating, just glad our weather is back to 23.

    1. Not exactly like hotcakes Von but it's early days yet! I've got so much more to display but I just haven't managed the time to do it yet! Thanks for being so supportive. I really appreciate it.

I haven't even started a pencil drawing for this weeks APR so I think I can safely say I'll be having to wait for next week.
I've had a wonderful day out with a friend to a place called 'Monsalvat' which is Australia’s oldest artists’ colony and home to practising artists. It remains to this day a working not-for-profit arts centre administered by a board. Set in 12 acres of established gardens, the historic buildings include charming mud brick cottages and the impressive Great Hall.
You would love it I'm sure. I hope to do a post soon about the place. I shot 40 photos without even blinking an eye. So much to take in...perfect!
I use Firefox too but I won't say anything incase I put the jinx on it. I came home to over 54 emails which I'm trying to work my way through! Dinner could be late! ;D

Please show the video on your blog...but Muffy will demand her appearance fee ~ a kilo of fresh chicken!
Enjoy the video and I apologise for not reading your name correctly straight away...I hadn't my glasses on at the time 0>0

  16. Muffin is a legend... that was just about the best drawing of a winner I have seen in a long time... I can't wait to show Phantom when she gets home from school... and how many tricks does she have... Mushu has one and one only and that is a bit dodgy... maybe I need to send him to visit you to get trained up... congrats to Whimsy girl!!!!

    1. Please don't tell her she's a legend...I couldn't stand it! She's such a 'PrimaDonna' already.
I don't think they'd be much training done, if Mushu and Muffy got together. High jinks comes to mind!
I hope Phantom has a giggle with the video. I'll maybe have another guest appearance from her (if she's free) to show off her tricks but I'll have to save up for the chicken first! ;D

  18. Great idea to involve Muffin and much more fun that pulling the name out of a hat. Looks like Muffin will, like my Sorrel, so anything for a bit of chicken.
Sorry it wasn't me but huge congratulations to Kay and thanks Nessie for giving us the chance to win.

Yep, Mufftypup will scale heights, swim oceans, jump over houses, you name it she'll do anything for chicken.
She's even taken to going out into the garden last thing at night for the last call of nature but then stands and watches me and won't come in no matter what I say until I say the word....C...H...I...C....K....E....N!
I'm having to spell it out because she's curled up beside me and she's already eaten!
      Have a great day :D
