Stunning photo! I like clotheslines old-fashioned around the area under load (instead of this modern clothes-dryer) and just so flutters my laundry in the wind. Even such support I use ... Have e great new week :-)
Thanks Mascha, I like the old fashioned washing line too. I'm not a fan of the 'rotary' kind or using the tumble dryer. The only trouble was that today the wind was extremely strong and I feared that my washing was going to fly away! ;D They were all dry within record time. I hope you have a great week too and thank you for being my latest follower. I really appreciate it xoxo
Oh Kate, you have made my weekend with your comment. Thank you so much ;D That wind was wild indeed. I had to hang on to my sheets for dear life as they tried to fly off to Norway! Enjoy your Sunday and I hope the coming week is a good one!
I don't think so Kim....well not today anyway, but yesterday I did have a shirt land just this side of the fence. Thankfully my son nipped over the wall to retrieve it! ;D
Enjoy your Sunday evening and thanks for popping over.
Super King sheets dried within 10 minutes...the wind was that strong! ;D Thankfully the sun was warm. Thanks for visiting and for hosting the party! Have a great week
Oh what a shame...I took a few and the one above gave a better show of just how powerful the wind was. A gorgeous day! ;D Today we have the blue sky and sun but the wind has moved on. Enjoy your week and thanks for visiting.
OMGosh! It looks like the clothesline is going to fall over--LOL! But there's nothing like the smell of clothes dried on the line. I especially remember sheets and pillowcases when I was a kid. Ahhh! ;)
I get so excited to see you here and love to read your thoughts and comments. I always try to answer each one personally (I think it's only polite) ...♥...I truly appreciate your precious time here so thank you ...♥...
what a lovely photo!

Lovely shot - evokes so many memories of washday's past.
ReplyDeleteI have a rotary now due to lack of space. I miss my old line.
I'll just look at yours. :)
No problem Tracy....I don't mind sharing mine ;D

Hello fjords of Norway. Grab a sheet hold tight and off ya go, Neesie!
ReplyDeleteIndeed Nan (lol) I did have to hold on tight...extremely tight! ;D
DeleteIt could be a very cheap was to fly to Norway!

Oooh - nothing better than washing on the line. I had tried to take a similar picture but it didn't work. So glad yours did :) #SilentSunday

Wow, that's some wind! Great picture! Our wind (in Florida) has been blowing quite a bit the past few days as well.
