what a lovely photo! http://iwriteaboutyou.blogspot.ca/2014/03/silent-sunday_16.html
Thanks Nessaa, it just sums up today's weather ;DEnjoy your Sunday!
Stunning photo! I like clotheslines old-fashioned around the area under load (instead of this modern clothes-dryer) and just so flutters my laundry in the wind.Even such support I use ...Have e great new week :-)
Thanks Mascha, I like the old fashioned washing line too.I'm not a fan of the 'rotary' kind or using the tumble dryer. The only trouble was that today the wind was extremely strong and I feared that my washing was going to fly away! ;DThey were all dry within record time. I hope you have a great week too and thank you for being my latest follower. I really appreciate it xoxo
My favourite so far this week, a sign of Spring and love that wild wind
Oh Kate, you have made my weekend with your comment. Thank you so much ;DThat wind was wild indeed. I had to hang on to my sheets for dear life as they tried to fly off to Norway! Enjoy your Sunday and I hope the coming week is a good one!
I hope nothing blew away.....lol
I don't think so Kim....well not today anyway, but yesterday I did have a shirt land just this side of the fence. Thankfully my son nipped over the wall to retrieve it! ;DEnjoy your Sunday evening and thanks for popping over.
Lovely shot - evokes so many memories of washday's past.I have a rotary now due to lack of space. I miss my old line.I'll just look at yours. :)
No problem Tracy....I don't mind sharing mine ;DThanks for visiting my space and I hope to return to compliment soon.Enjoy your Sunday evening and have a great week.
Love the photo and wow that is windy. Thank you for linking up
Super King sheets dried within 10 minutes...the wind was that strong! ;DThankfully the sun was warm. Thanks for visiting and for hosting the party! Have a great week
Well that will be dry in no time!
It certainly was...in record time in fact! ;DHave a brilliant week and thanks for stopping by
Hello fjords of Norway. Grab a sheet hold tight and off ya go, Neesie!
Indeed Nan (lol) I did have to hold on tight...extremely tight! ;DIt could be a very cheap was to fly to Norway! Have a fabulous week xoxo
Oooh - nothing better than washing on the line. I had tried to take a similar picture but it didn't work. So glad yours did :) #SilentSunday
Oh what a shame...I took a few and the one above gave a better show of just how powerful the wind was. A gorgeous day! ;DToday we have the blue sky and sun but the wind has moved on.Enjoy your week and thanks for visiting.
Wow, that's some wind! Great picture! Our wind (in Florida) has been blowing quite a bit the past few days as well.
OMGosh! It looks like the clothesline is going to fall over--LOL! But there's nothing like the smell of clothes dried on the line. I especially remember sheets and pillowcases when I was a kid. Ahhh! ;)
Great, silent, 'motion' photo! I get the drift, lol
Beautiful image! Pretty dramatic for laundry!
I get so excited to see you here and love to read your thoughts and comments.I always try to answer each one personally (I think it's only polite)...♥...I truly appreciate your precious time here so thank you ...♥...
