We've woken up to a white wonderland this morning.
No snow, but Jack Frost came to visit during the night... so everything is covered with white dust and twinkling in the sunlight.
A perfect morning.
The current temperature as I type is -3 degrees celcius!
So it's appropriate perhaps that my wip is a wintery scene.
I'm sorry that it's still a wip, but I just can't seem to find enough time these days to complete a piece of work in one go!
There has been a major leaf clearing exercise... I adore having so many mature trees around us, but the downside is the amazing amount of leaves that fall.
Anyway, that's my brief post for today because I'm off for a girlie weekend!
Woohoo!
Woohoo!
Have fun and enjoy your weekend.
Thanks for visiting and I hope to catch up with you soon.
In the meantime, I'm linking up with the Paint Party Friday and Sunday Sketches
Lovely art, have a fun weekend, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteSuper winter scene
ReplyDeleteI am where you were, wading in piles of leaves and trying to clean them up before the winter snows. Your wip, as you call it, is gorgeous and doesn't look as if it needs more work ... as much as I don't enjoy the cold, I love how winter looks out the window. Very nice, Neesie ...

ReplyDeletelovely winter scene in progress, we are expecting 30cm tomorrow, eeps, it would be the first dump of the season.
ReplyDeleteOh nooo say it isn't so. It was 73 yesterday here in southern WI but the last hour has seen some nasty changes. That is gorgeous art work is it a painting or glass work? I've noticed people getting pretty lackadaysacal around here with their leaf disposal and a pretty serious wind is whipping up so that should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend! :D
