    1. I took quite a few shots but it was no hardship watching them busily carrying on with their antics. I've got some great photos as I have four nest boxes around our garden.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great Sunday ;D

    1. Hi Leanne,
Yeah...he's very possessive. There was quite a buzz in the neighbourhood when the box went on the market. Lots of viewings, so he was very lucky to secure the property.
Thanks for popping by...have a great week ;D

    1. Yes its a blue tit. They are tiny but have a very powerful voice.
The opening hole (door) to the box is 25mm which will give you some idea of just how small these birds are.
Have a great week too ;D

    1. Thanks Fozia,
I found an empty small blue egg on the ground this morning so I think we have a baby robin nearby too. We have four bird boxes at the moment and there's activity in each one, which is fantastic ;D
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

  16. I feel so guilty for not popping over more often, I mean to say, I was a more frequent visitor when you were on the other side of the world! So...my bad :-(
OK, apology over, with a promise to be a better stalker...er...visitor ;-)
How lucky you are to have an inhabited tit nest Neesie! Are there eggs do you know?
I nipped further down and read about your wee accident with the fuel :O Yikes!! An expensive error indeed. I hope your visitors had (still having?) a fab time. I couldn't believe that haar! We're a fleas jump from the coast and don't get it that thick. I'm glad it cleared to show the area in a better light for the arrival of your guests.
OK, that's me. Kettle's going on, fancy a cuppa? Xx

    1. Yes please...just a little milk and no sugar. (I'm sweet enough thanks hehe)
Look Mo, you don't have to apologise to me because I'm the world's worst at visiting everyone especially since moving back here. I just don't seem to get time to myself or to do things I want to do. (Enough of the whingeing) ;D
I found a little blue egg on the floor by the ivy covered wall this morning, so we have at least one baby robin somewhere. I'm going to perhaps take a peek and maybe, just maybe I'll be able to take a super quick snap to share with everyone. I don't want to frighten Mum away though.
There's lots of activity in the bird box shown above, so I definitely think we have chicks there. It's a good job I have three different areas for the all feed stations with these new additions to our family! It's costing a fortune but oh so worth it.
My car is running well once again and I vow to try to keep my head in the now instead of at least three stops ahead! It was a little pricey but not as much as I was expecting.
Unfortunately, my guests have left now but hopefully they'll return later in the year. We do have a few more visitors booked in during the next few months, so it'll be a busy time ahead.
Thanks for the cuppa...I needed that. Now I must dash to do more visiting.
Take care and no matter when you pop by it's always lovely to see you in my inbox.
Call again soon...if you can ;D
      xoxo

  17. I'm so happy I still can comment on your blog! I'm so mad and sad when I see all Google+ bloggers who can only have comments from other members - and they don't know about it! It's such a pity as a lot of the joy from blogging comes from the interaction between bloggers. Poor Wren had to be a message bringer for me ...

I've been looking through your latest posts and I can feel the chill from that fog! It's best on photos, actually. I hope for great weather when I come to Britain in the summer (Cornwall calling!), even though I know that you're not famous for sunshine and heat ... Last summer must have been a gorgeous exception. Oh well, my Yorkshire friends will come and see us and that warms my heart much more than any sun ever will.

I hope your car will be a quick fix, I guess it depends on which way you did wrong. As I understand it one way is a total disaster but the other one is fixable. Sometimes I'm glas I don't have a drivings license ...

I wish you a haar free day!

    1. Well hello there Anni,
Great to see you and to receive your substantial comment. I agree totally over the Google+ issue. I've an ID for it but I find it a little confusing when trying to comment on certain blogs. Anyway...
So you're coming to Cornwall. Last year was a fantastic summer but then I had paid a fortune to put sunshine and heat into our freight when returning from Australia. I think I might have to contact friends to send me some more for this coming year ;D
Cornwall is beautiful at any time...I haven't been there for years but will have to put it on the list. Seeing your friends will perfect the visit no doubt. I'll do my best on the weather order hehe
True to form Anni...my petrol issue was the worst case scenario. If I do something I try to do it well even when it's wrong!
Your wish has been granted about the haar free day...in fact we haven't seen it since that week. It's a gloriously sunny day although a little fresh but that's the way I like it.
Have a fantastic week and I hope you visit you soon
In the meantime have fun and take care xoxo
