My Sunday Photo... Neesie On Assignment

Today the photographer got shot!
This is me on My Sunday Photo assignment and my daughter took a photo of me, taking a photo!
I was totally focused (sorry for the intentional pun, but I couldn't resist)
I had no idea she was taking my photo.
The weather today was incredibly wet, so we decided to visit the Botanical Winter Gardens for some warmth.
I will be posting some of the photo's from our visit in the next few days.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
I'm linking up with My Sunday Photo as usual.

  1. I love the way your daughter has photographed you so focused on getting the perfect shot. Nice to see you in front of the camera :-)

    1. It's unusual to see me on that side of the camera Louise. I would normally insist on soft focus, but at least my face is hidden by the camera on this shot! (hehe)

    1. I was totally oblivious to my daughter taking this shot. We did have a great time and our mission was a success because we obtained lots of inspiration for future art work.

  3. That's always fun since we have a tendency to shy away from the camera. I got caught in the reflection of my mother's sunglasses the other day and didn't realize it until after I posted. Nice photo.

    1. We certainly do shy away from being on that side of the camera Jeanna. Your photograph with the reflection sounds brilliant and could have been specially set up if you didn't divulge that it was by chance.

    1. I was focused Tas and had no idea that my daughter was focused on my image. I really should have thought to post the photo I was taking, but I never thought about that.

    1. I never gave it a thought... but I should have included it in this post. I'll be sure to mention which one it is when I do finally post it. Hugs back to you :D

    1. Hehe...thanks Rita. She was very sneaky to capture me without me having a clue until we got home. She has a few but I thought this one showed how focused I become when I'm zooming in on something.

  9. Hey sweetie, you're looking awesome in that pic! I'm loving all the black, mom would be so pleased, she's a total black enthusiast. I'm thinking that you may need some new nail polish though. What'd ya think? I'll email with details (gotta love free stuff, right?) Hugs.

    1. Haha...awesome...I love that! I wasn't meant to be in all black although that's my kind of screensaver. It is supposed to be summer after all and I was just on my way in a jumper, jeans and scarf when the heaven's opened and it poured down. I grabbed my leather jacket in the hope that it would keep me dry!
      We're having a wash out summer :(

    1. Is that a good grin Sandy? I hope so!
Total focus on the job in hand and oblivious to my sneaky daughter taking my photo until we got home. She'd captured me a few times. I honestly don't know where she gets it from? ;D

    1. I'm not sure when you visited but the park and botanical gardens have had money from the lottery and been revamping everything.
I used to walk my dog around the park a few mornings a week. We both loved it. This was the first time I'd been back since we said goodbye....but I focused as you can see on the plants!

  14. A fun shot - in college my boyfriend took a picture of me taking a picture. He totally surprised me. Love the greenery in the shot - where's your photo? It would be cool to see both together.

    1. Thanks Carol, I didn't know that my daughter had taken the photo until we returned home...in fact she'd taken a few. I never thought about posting the photo that I was focused on. It would have been good to have posted them both. I'll have to remember that :D
