What made me laugh was when I asked him could I take a photo...he said "yes but let me take my hat off first"!
If he sees this and the angle that I used he maybe disappointed.

You have a great week and when the weekend arrives have a fantastic weekend too!!!! hehe

    1. Me too Rita...that's why he's up there and not me ;D
Things are moving on thankfully and the hall, stairs and landing is the last main disruption to the interior of the house. All the other jobs are outside which is just as well as I have visitors due to arrive soon. Eek!

      Have a great day xoxo

I made a cake and look what happened. Two new bathrooms, doors and windows replaced, decorated throughout and that's just the start! I'm NOT baking any more for now...I think we all need timeout!

Lovely to catch up with you...enjoy your day ;D

    1. Well the weekends been and gone Zo and I'm only just getting to answer your comment...phew...it's full on isn't it? ;D
I knew I didn't want to be up there...so that's why I delegated. I'm not as blonde as I seem hehe
I doubt I'll manage a WOYWW for some time...I've been ousted by my daughter. She's in the middle of a painting just now so I'm concentrating on the garden instead.
      Have a great week :D

  9. Your workmen are very inventive when it comes to reaching difficult places. Like the unusual shot! I like the contrast between the straight lines of the planks and the curve of the staircase. Keep wondering though, why has he got three balls growing out of his shoulders instead of a head - or are they marvellous external eyes that enable him to see patches he's missed when he's painting?

    1. Hehe...I thought you'd like it Jez ;D
I must admit I haven't checked the three ball issue!
Fancy suggesting that he'd miss places to paint...I'm shocked that you think I'd have such a shoddy worker. (lol)
I'll have you know that this place has had EVERY nook and cranny painted.
Thanks for stopping by...I really will get to visit soon.
      xoxo
