    1. It was such a surprise because it hadn't been a particularly good day weather wise... but this was a brief bonus to end the day ;D

    1. It appeared so suddenly and then disappeared within minutes. I'm a little disappointed with the shot because it really doesn't do it justice.
Thanks for your visit and I hope you have a great Sunday

  3. Good Sunset. it's a fine balancing act trying to get a right shutter speed and aperture for the Sunset and fore-ground. Good picture. ;) #MySundayPhoto

    1. It appeared and disappeared so quickly... I had to run to grab the camera to capture it. I'm a little disappointed because it really was incredible and I don't think I do it justice.

    1. It certainly was Bek, especially because the day hadn't been a particularly good one up to that point. A perfect way to end the day though.

    1. The photo doesn't really show just how vibrant the colours were. It only lasted a few minutes so I'm happy that I managed to capture any of it.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great Sunday.

    1. They were indeed Sara, in fact they were so much more vibrant than on this photo. But I only had a few minutes to capture it because it disappeared as quickly as it appeared.
Have a great Sunday and thanks for popping into my place.

  9. Lovely colours. I like that you can still see the hay bales in the fields too. #mysundayphoto

    1. I'm glad that you can still see the hay bales because it was growing dark. The farmers had been busy all day in the fields around us... I had thought I'd post a photo of them working away but when this sunset appeared I had to snap it.
Have a great Sunday whatever you have planned. Have fun!

    1. It was Louise but all too brief... if you blinked you would almost miss it. I'm just glad I was able to capture it and appreciate it even for the brief time it was on display.
Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for stopping by.

    1. They were incredible Mo... I'm not too happy with the photo because it really didn't do it justice. Parts of the sky looked like they were on fire... and it was such a surprise that it even appeared at all after the day we'd had. Grey skies and windy... yuk!
Let's hope today is better... it needs to get a wriggle on if the sun's going to appear.
Have fun no matter what you get up to... enjoy!

    1. We are so lucky in this house to have great views across fields and woodland with a clear view of undisturbed sky. We've seen three magnificent sunsets over the last few days alone and I agree with you... it's a very special time of day.
      Have a great week.

    1. It has been both good and bad travelling so much over the years. I've seen lots of amazing things and lots that I wish I hadn't seen. I'm not so sure we're finished with travelling all together but maybe if we do we'll come back within three weeks and not years!
I've just this minute taken a great sunset photo. The trouble with living in this house is they are common but I can't resist capturing them. I now must have hundreds of them.
I've put it out on my instagram account so you might see it in my sidebar.
Enjoy your week... have fun :D

    1. This was one of the briefest sunsets I've seen in a long time. I had to grab the camera and run. My family wondered what on earth was going on although they're getting used to my antics now.
It's amazing how many sunsets we see in this house, even if we haven't seen the sun all day. I never tire of them.
