Hehe.... I wondered if anyone would guess what it was ;D It's a tulip bulb! One more day of sunlight should make it pop open. Have a great weekend Victoria and thanks for stopping by to comment
It is indeed a flower. All of our daffodils are open now but the tulips are just about to burst. I couldn't resist trying to capture one about to open. Have a lovely Sunday and thanks for your visit.
Thanks Diane, I'm really interested to see just what it looks like when it opens fully. I planted so many tulips in the autumn that I've forgotten which ones are which. It's my age! Thanks for visiting and I hope your Sunday is fun ;D
And he's not alone Giggles, I planted lots back in the autumn so it's their first showing. It's great to see them all coming to life. Have a great Sunday... enjoy!
I'm really interested to see what colour it will be when it's fully open Caz. I don't recognise it so far although I did plant masses of bulbs back in the autumn. It's so rewarding to see them all popping up now ;D Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Have fun this Sunday!
Haha... my fiendish plan worked... I'll tell you it's a tulip. Don't ask me which variety because I haven't a scooby. I planted so many last autumn so I'm as surprised as anyone that they are appearing and looking so good. I can't wait for them to open fully. One more day of sun should do it. Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for stopping by my place.
Hehe... it is indeed. You win ;D Although I had mentioned it in the above comments. I thought it was harder to identify because of it's colour. Thanks for playing along with me...I hope your week has started well. Enjoy!
Well I'm not so sure about the colour. It's opened up a wee bit more and it still looks the same colour as the photo. It's all very exciting though because I just planted bulbs everywhere and now they're all popping up! I'll be sure to post the opened tulip when it's reached it's full potential. In the meantime has fun and hopefully you'll be having lots of sunshine too. Thanks for visiting my place.
Love the close up! Please share when it's fully opened please please. Don't cha just love the softness of a flower in mega close up?! Ooh I miss tulips and daffodils :(
Oh I will Nan, it's as exciting for me too because I have no idea what it will be like. Autumn was such a long time ago... I've completely forgotten what I've planted. I know I've do the worst thing by not putting stakes with the names on them but hey... call me wreckless.... I love the surprise! In fact there's tulips popping up all over the borders... but I must have put them there? Who knows? Anyway, thanks for stopping by my place and I hope you're having a great week... that will just get better as it goes along.
I'm hoping so Darren, it'll be a surprise to me too because I've forgotten what I've planted. Over zealous during the autumn months in my planting but I'm loving the surprises. Thanks for hosting and for your visit. Have an enjoyable week and let's hope this lovely sunny weather continues.
Aww thank you Jo but I can only take the credit for the photo. Everything else is due to amazing nature. Thanks for your visit and taking the time to comment. Have a great week...enjoy!
I'm not sure I would have either Sara, it couldhave been a vegetable too. It's all rather strange but it'll be interesting to see what it looks like fully open. It's coming on really well especially in the last few days. We've had fantastic sunshine. Thanks for your comment and visit once again. Have fun this week and let's hope the sunshine continues.
She's doing well and continuing to open thanks to the glorious sunshine we're having over the last few days. I'll be sure to post her in all her glory later. Have a great week and thanks for visiting my plot!
The sun's continued to do that during the weekend and it's coming on lovely. Still a long way to go but she's getting there. It's all very exciting. Thanks for your visit and let's hope we can enjoy more of this sunshine during this week.
What a beautiful sight and I love how the sunlight is beaming on it to give it an almost fluorescent colour. I'm sure it'll be stunning when it opens #SundayPhoto
It is a strange colour but I'm not sure how it will be when fully open. I've never planted so many tulips before and now I can't remember not only what variety they are but also more importantly where I planted them! It's all very exciting though... not know what is going to come up where. I like to live on the edge!
