My Sunday Photo... Sunset

I had no intention of posting yet another sunset photograph this week, but when tonight's sunset display started I couldn't resist. There's a huge full moon tonight too, but I know I'll never do it justice with my photographic skill. I need to practice more... but maybe one day (or night!) I just might capture it.

    1. Oh it's a shame you had clouds because the moon was incredible. It lit up all the fields around us.
Thanks for leaving a comment... I appreciate it.

    1. Very often during the evening there can suddenly be sunlight beaming into the house and it's the sunset. Sometimes we've not seen the sun all day but it'll appear for a few minutes as it sets. It never ceases to stop us in our tracks to look and appreciate it.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a great Sunday

    1. I've been lucky to capture both a brilliant sunrise and sunset this weekend.
I'm hoping this little window of good weather will last for the whole month of September because so far the summer has been rather dismal.
Have a great Sunday and thanks for your comment.

  5. This sunsets have been stunning of late haven't they. This one is another stunner, and I love how you've photos this through the long grasses, it gives it an alien effect!
Lovely photo and like you, I've never managed to capture a moon shot. One night!

    1. You would laugh if you knew that I was up a step ladder and then down on the ground crouching to capture this sunset. Even after hubby running to the garage for the step ladder (because as you know you have to be quick) I liked the one crouching through the grasses the best!
I was tempted to try taking the moon photo, but after all the shinanakins with the sunset I thought I'd leave it and just appreciate it with my eyes.
      Maybe next time.
Thanks for your visit and I wish you a great day.

    1. Hi Sara,
The grasses and plants are on our boundary before the farmers field begins so it's our little nod to a wildlife garden.
I like them included in the shot too.
Great to have you visit and I hope you have a lovely Sunday.

Enjoy your day and thanks for your lovely visit.

    1. Your son is right... I totally agree with him. You should definitely just start clicking away. I think I must have clocked up my 10.000 hours.
My daughter said a similar thing to me when I first started using the computer... she told me I couldn't break it and to just press the keys... there are at least three ways to do something. And here I am, blogging and using all of the social media available.
      Just have fun!
Have a great week and I'll look forward to seeing photos.
