My Sunday Sunset Photo and a little Pokemon

I know you have seen many of my sunset photographs from this particular spot but sometimes I just have to capture them.
Each one seems so special and I want to make sure that I appreciate them.
What a perfect way to end a day.
As usual I'm linking up once more with Photoalife
Why not pop over and see lots of other great photography.

Just before I go I thought I'd share Muffin's latest Instagram photo with you.
Who needs Pokémon when you have a Pooch!
Yes I know the ball has seen better days, but she's had it since Day 1 and loves it.
She has other newer balls and lots of toys, but 'Wilson' has had too many adventures with her to just be discarded.
(Don't worry I check it regularly to see that it's still safe)
Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by my place.
Hope to see you again soon.

  1. What gorgeous photos. Your sunset show is beautiful and the textures created in the foreground.
As for that ball, it's well loved - and so is your pooch!

    1. Correct on all three accounts Tracey. The foreground of the sunset photo is what we call the wild garden... that's just over the garden boundary. It's mainly weeds and Cow Parsley.
As to pooch being well loved... she stole all of our hearts from the minute we met her over 12 years ago.

    1. Isn't it just Kim, I couldn't resist capturing yet another sunset!
      Don't suppose I ever will.
That ball ('Wilson') has seen life! It's been to three continents along with Muffin and had gazillion hours of fun along the way.

    1. Well yes and no... it's taken in Bonnie Scotland.
The field has masses of Cow Parsley around the edges which just worked perfectly with the sunset.

    1. It is indeed well loved Sara, but she has other balls too that are moving up in the ranking. I don't think any would replace 'Wilson' though.
As to the sunset I don't think I could ignore them either. I have tried as I have so many already, but they just grab me and won't let go!

As for Muffy... well it's unthinkable.

    1. I wasn't sure about linking yet another sunset photo, but what can you do when you witness something like this?
Thanks for your visit and link once again. Enjoy your Sunday.

    1. Me neither Cheryl... but I think I'll let them carry on with it. I was involved with the Pokemon craze the first time, back in the 90's. My son collected the cards and had a huge collection. I couldn't possibly go through that sort of thing again. I suppose it gets people out and about though.

    1. Thanks... the ball most certainly has seen an incredible amount of action over the years. Muffy's got other replacements, but 'Wilson' always has to be featured in the fun!

  12. Always enjoy a good sunset pic. A beautiful way to end the day! Oh my goodness gracious! Wilson is as big as McMuffy! The Girls and I send early morning (here) hugs to all before the blistering heat sets in and we're all hot n sweaty. (Oh I do love FL.) have a wonderful week.

    1. Me too Nan, I just can't resist them. Well 'Wilson' is in fact only a small football. Well it was initially... until McMuffy got at it! But yes it's bigger than her... but then most things are.
Hey we too are expecting a day of 'HOT' temperatures here on Tuesday. 27 degrees in fact and London is expecting about 31 degrees. That'll be summer then and Wednesday we are expecting thunderstorms because we can't possible have those sort of temperatures without. Stay cool and enjoy your week too.

  13. I'm surprised Muffy would love such a huge ball, but you can see it is well loved.
    Great sunset shot. :)

    1. Hehe... that ball is only about double of a tennis ball size, so still relatively small. It's just she's so small too.
As you can see... she's really whipped it into shape. She takes no prisoners at times.

  14. This is the first time I noticed your name is Denise--I've been pronouncing Neesie in my head Nessie, like Loch Ness. I laugh at myself now this morning. Your darling pup looks mischievous in that photo!

    1. Haha... don't worry Brooke, lots of people have made that same mistake. I suppose it doesn't help that I'm living in Nessie land in Bonnie Scotland. I answer to anything as long as it's polite.
My pup can certainly have her moment... but she can get away with almost anything when she gives you her cute look!

    1. 'Wilson' has travelled three continents with Muffy, so I imagine that there's plenty of smells on it!
She seems to have taken to three new balls, but this favourite is always close to hand.
