Whoops...danger of whaffling here.....
So moving on swiftly now I've given you my excuses...here's my desk from an elevated view. Nothing much happening I'm afraid, which is killing me. I have so many things I want to do in here, but they'll have to wait.At least I know my mojo is firing on all cylinders and chomping on the bit to get going : D
So maybe if you want to see more productive creative workdesks then just click over to Julia and you'll be able to snoop at some amazing crafty people, their desks and what they're up to...they won't mind...honest!
I must dash...my tourbus is almost due to leave! 'All aboard'!!!
Happy WOYWW everyone...have fun ;D
Have fun!! We will all be here waiting patiently for your return and to see what gorgeous creations are in store! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh that's so kind ~ thanks ;D
DeleteNot sure they'll be gorgeous creations but I'm looking forward to doing!
Have a great week :D
I have to admit that I love having guest. It's the cleaning and preparing ahead of time that is the exhausting part of company.
ReplyDeleteI do too...it's tough to do breakfast, lunch, and dinner eating out but we seem to be managing it!
DeleteWe'll be needing elasticated waistbands soon ;D
Lovely to have you pop by to visit.
Have a great week ;D
I love the rose in the post before... stunning and soooo happy to see a little teapot drawing sitting on your desk... hope you get back to it soon... it all looks a bit neat doesn't it...xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracey...the teapot is only a draft so I'll let you see the real one when its done. You just might have a little wait though.
DeleteI bought some great brown and white tags whilst out today which I'm drooling over. Lots of ideas ;)
Just enjoying a good cuppa after being out shopping since 10.30am! Phewph! We can work it!
Have a fun week :D
Hope you enjoy your trip, having your family there must be lovely but can imagine how tiring it must be. Loving the look of your Teapot and cup! You'll be pleased to know I'm having my large A4 Zentangles page (was on my desk last week!)with my initials framed properly to be put up in the family room. So thanks for renewing my love of doodling! Anyway take care & enjoy this weeks snoop! Zo xx 15
ReplyDeleteHi Zo,
DeleteGreat to hear you've had fun with the zentangles. I'll have to go back to have a look at your initials. I hope to frame some of mine when I get around to it.
I think WOYWW is great for spreading the inspiration.
I hope to visit but time is very limited.
Have a great week :D
I feel your pain Neesie. It's a mixed blessing having company. On the one hand you enjoy the people and their visit, but on the other hand, it dents your routine and it's kinda nice to have the place and your life back to normal when they go. Short visits are the best kind! haha, I am a selfish person, I know. xxoo
ReplyDeleteI love family and friends visiting but I always knock myself out trying to do the 'wonder woman' act. When you think of the expense and the distance of 12,000 miles that they have travelled, I think anyone who does that deserves to be spoilt ;D
DeleteI saw your photo quickly on one of your posts so now can visualise you now. I'll revisit again after next week.
Have a great week :D xox
I understand exactly what you are talking about. visitors can be so fun and exciting but draining and you are always longing to get back to your hobby and some peace and quiet
ReplyDelete- KAT -
Got it in one Kat!
DeleteThanks for popping by ~ have a fun WOYWW :D
Neesie, I bet you are a brilliant hostess!
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way, I do love your wacky but energetic style of writing... :-)
That's just the kinda gal I am Mark ;D
DeleteHi Neesie,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've been having a great time with your company. I'm sure you're sister-in-law is loving every minute of her visit.
I see that drawing of the teapot -- can't wait to see what you do with it. It's great that you know your mojo is chomping at the bit!!!
Happy WOYWW
Hugs,

Hi Kay,
DeleteMy SIL is loving her time here but Melbourne is an easy place to promote. The teapot is still in a state of undress...but waiting patiently for me.
Thanks for stopping by and I'll try to visit but I can't promise for this week. I'm missing you all!
Have fun WOYWW :D
love the look of the home sweet home work, will you get it framed? hope you get some time to craft soon and thanks for sharing too

Hi Lisa, thanks for popping by...I wondered if anyone would notice my cross-stitch.
DeleteI actually made it whilst waiting for my daughter to bake. That was 27 years ago so it's vintage.
I've only just found it again, so I thought I'd bring it into the light.
Have fun with WOYWW ;D
enjoy your family time, maybe you should get your sister crafting with you, thanks for visiting my blog
ReplyDeletehave a fab crafty week and

Oh how marvellous you are, I'm sure your SiL will treasure her memories.and it's so fun having someone who wants to see and do it all! And your mojo is only calling you because you're distracted....there'll be time- after the long lie down!!
ReplyDeleteHi Julia,
DeleteI was thrilled to hear my SiL say that this holiday has been her best holiday ever! We've still got so much to fit in before she leaves too.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to visit everyone's desk soon ;D
So glad you are enjoying your time with your sister. Crafting can wait until she is gone, some things are more important. dani103
ReplyDeleteHow true Dani,
DeleteI'm getting lots of crafting and arty ideas whilst out and about.
Have a great WOYWW and I hope to visit soon ;D
Enjoy the rest of your time with your SIL - and then you'll be able to get on and create once again - that workspace is obviously waiting for you - Hazel, WOYWW #85 x
ReplyDeleteYep, its just sitting there waiting and I can't wait, but first things first. A few more tour guide trips and events first.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend and I hope to visit soon :D
