What's On Your Workdesk ~ WOYWW

My entry for what's on your workdesk may well be my briefest on record....the reason being I'm still trying to be the hostess with the mostess. My sister-in-law hopefully is having an experience of a lifetime visiting Melbourne and I'm trying to maximise her stay with us. I may need to lie down for a month after she leaves to recover or book myself into a spa but as long as she enjoys her stay then it'll be worth it.
Whoops...danger of whaffling here.....
So moving on swiftly now I've given you my excuses...here's my desk from an elevated view. Nothing much happening I'm afraid, which is killing me. I have so many things I want to do in here, but they'll have to wait.

At least I know my mojo is firing on all cylinders and chomping on the bit to get going : D

So maybe if you want to see more productive creative workdesks then just click over to Julia and you'll be able to snoop at some amazing crafty people, their desks and what they're up to...they won't mind...honest!

I must dash...my tourbus is almost due to leave! 'All aboard'!!!

Happy WOYWW everyone...have fun ;D

  2. I have to admit that I love having guest. It's the cleaning and preparing ahead of time that is the exhausting part of company.

  4. Hope you enjoy your trip, having your family there must be lovely but can imagine how tiring it must be. Loving the look of your Teapot and cup! You'll be pleased to know I'm having my large A4 Zentangles page (was on my desk last week!)with my initials framed properly to be put up in the family room. So thanks for renewing my love of doodling! Anyway take care & enjoy this weeks snoop! Zo xx 15

    1. Hi Zo,
Great to hear you've had fun with the zentangles. I'll have to go back to have a look at your initials. I hope to frame some of mine when I get around to it.
I think WOYWW is great for spreading the inspiration.
I hope to visit but time is very limited.
      Have a great week :D

  5. I feel your pain Neesie. It's a mixed blessing having company. On the one hand you enjoy the people and their visit, but on the other hand, it dents your routine and it's kinda nice to have the place and your life back to normal when they go. Short visits are the best kind! haha, I am a selfish person, I know. xxoo

    1. I love family and friends visiting but I always knock myself out trying to do the 'wonder woman' act. When you think of the expense and the distance of 12,000 miles that they have travelled, I think anyone who does that deserves to be spoilt ;D
I saw your photo quickly on one of your posts so now can visualise you now. I'll revisit again after next week.
Have a great week :D xox

  8. Hi Neesie,

It sounds like you've been having a great time with your company. I'm sure you're sister-in-law is loving every minute of her visit.

I see that drawing of the teapot -- can't wait to see what you do with it. It's great that you know your mojo is chomping at the bit!!!

    1. Hi Kay,
My SIL is loving her time here but Melbourne is an easy place to promote. The teapot is still in a state of undress...but waiting patiently for me.
Thanks for stopping by and I'll try to visit but I can't promise for this week. I'm missing you all!

    1. Hi Lisa, thanks for popping by...I wondered if anyone would notice my cross-stitch.
I actually made it whilst waiting for my daughter to bake. That was 27 years ago so it's vintage.
I've only just found it again, so I thought I'd bring it into the light.
      Have fun with WOYWW ;D
