What's on Your Workdesk....WOYWW

I'm spinning all the plates this week and just hoping they don't all come crashing down on me...but it's Wednesday and I haven't finished visiting everyone's work desk yet. I guess I failed that test.
Confused then just click over to Julia and it'll all become clear...plus you'll be able to snoop at some amazing crafty people, their desks and what they're up to...they won't mind...honest! ;D

I am determined to make my WOYWW entry brief today. As I mentioned I have so much to fit in before my SIL arrives at dawn on Saturday, appointments, and meetings etc on top of the usual stuff...that I haven't really gone into my room today...I just grabbed the pads and pens and sat at my kitchen workbench. The sun wasn't shining in that room, so that was my excuse. Not that I need one because there's no-one here to witness other than Mufftypup.

Here's some of the zentangles that I've finished during to week...I'm still working on the teapot and cup.

Muffin actually was busy in the studio earlier...so here comes a confession...I don't only do art work in that room. There's lots of other activities that I may get to divulge at a later date...but today was Muffin's spa time.
I know quite a few of you mentioned how great it must be to have a sink handy...I think Muffin might not agree....what do you think?
With guests arriving a girl has to look her best though ^..^
Happy WOYWW everyone...have fun ;D

  5. Boy, have you got those zentangles sussed - they are FANTASTIC! I love the citrus slices, they just make me smile cos they're just right! The teapot is going to be a fun piece too. I think your's win over others because you leave a brave amount of white free - it works!

Thanks for following by the way Di...I get so excited when I see a new follower!

  14. Hi Neesie!

Sorry I didn't get back to you last week, BLogger played up for me and then I had lots to do to organise Lil Miss B for her trip. But here I am now!

Love the zentangle work - I like it a lot and would do more if everyone else in the family didn't keep stealing my pens... or wrecking them....sigh....

Muffin made me laugh - that was a long suffering face if ever I saw one. Sinks in craft rooms are handy, but I don't think my dogs would fit in a sink!

    1. Blogger can be like that Morti...don't worry because I find it incredibly difficult to visit all I'd like to in the time.

Thankfully no-one here has discovered my pens yet...I'm hoping it'll stay that way.

Muffin certainly knows how to work it and although she doesn't look happy there, once she's on her way to drying...especially with the hairdryer on her...she's fine. If she looks like that there's a chance she might get a piece of chicken...so it's worth trying! ^..^

Thanks for popping over ~ Have a happy fun Easter :D

    1. Hi Judy,
Thanks for your lovely comments. Someone once said when visiting my home in the Middle East, that they were surprised and I'd made it just like a real home...I was a little confused because when you're an expat for so many years travelling, I think it’s important that you do make the space you’re in yours! If you live like it’s a temporary state then it’s very unsettling...especially for children.

  24. Hi Ros,
I've got a lot of ideas but I'm leaving it until she's here, so we can decide together. We've never spent a lot of time together so I'm not too sure what she'd like best...so it's a work in progress. Isn't it typical after all this wonderful weather that it's going to change.

Madame Muffty has forgiven me ~ she always does; a piece of chicken works wonders ;D

I've been running flat out this week and we've nearly reached Friday...ahhh! There’s still so much to do before she arrives.
I've had no chance to draw for days, but I hope to get back to finish a piece as she likes arty things...I'm going to get her to have a go. Hopefully she'll like it. It may help with jet lag.

Have a wonderful long weekend...whatever you get up to have fun! Enjoy :D

  26. I'm very late this week, usually try to get around more desks on the Wednesday but having a 15 year old staying certainly limits my computer time.
Love your art work, they must take an age to complete but results are more than worth it. Wish my little dog would sit there with a towel wrapped round her, it takes all kinds of tricks and bribes to get her in the bath - she hates water and runs off to hide as soon as she sees the shampoo bottle.

I've missed my drawing too...but hope to catch up soon.
Muffin has always like having a spa day ~ she just doesn't like to be cold and wet. She'll do lots of tricks for some chicken...sit, paw, high five, turn around, lie down and roll over. Not bad for a dumb blonde. Your pooch sounds very switched on ;D
Have a lovely Easter weekend and thanks for stopping by.

  28. I struggled last week to get round just the people who visited me and a couple of others. I have no hope any more of getting round everyone, unless I do no crafting at all. All any of us can do is to do our best to visit as many as possible. Neither of our two dogs really enjoy being bathed, but we do cheat now and as very good lady brings her fully equipped van to the door, takes them out one at a time, to bath them and to trim them. She gets all the mud, and the tons of hair and we get two clean tidy dogs. Thanks for your visit and good wishes for Flash. Have a good Easter. xx Maggie #9

    1. I think if we just took to visiting everyone as you say we wouldn't get time to do anything else. I'm still dipping in and out when I can but I know I'm not going to manage many more now that the holiday weekend is upon us.

I used to have one of those van visit our driveway, but then with Muffin slung so low to the ground, I was always having to dip here to remove debris from our walk virtually everyday. I then thought I'd do the grooming course myself.
