What's on Your Work Desk ~ WOYWW #172

So, where am I working this WOYWW?
Am I in the studio?...at the kitchen table or the back in the dining room?
Well, in fact, it's none of the above...
...I'm here!

Not bad eh?

(photograph courtesy of my daughter and her amazing camera ~ I'm not jealous in the least ~ honest!)

Sorry I'm so late posting today but we've had an eventful time...what with pesky poaching possums on our patio trying to pinch from our BBQ...and kangaroos coming to call with their joeys for feeding!
Lots of photos to follow....

If you haven't heard of the term WOYWW (What's on your workdesk Wednesday) then nip over to
Julia's blog at Stamping Ground where you'll be able to check out crafty desks from all world!!!
Have fun and I'll be back soon with lots of inspiration and photos.

    1. Oh but it might be quite chilly Glenda...if I feel brave enough tomorrow I'll maybe give it a try but I think the indoor pool might be better. ;D
Have a great time with WOYWW ~ enjoy! :D

  2. That is a gorgeous pic and it looks like you are having a lovely time even if those pesky animals keep joining you. Enjoy your week.

    1. High jinx indeed...
The pesky possum got his head caught in the tin can that collects the drips from under the BBQ last night...it was so funny but we didn't have time to get the camera as we had to free him!
He'll be back though and we'll be ready next time!

The internet access here is a little ropey so I'm not sure when I'll get my visiting done.
Have a great week yourself ~ enjoy ;D

  3. LOVely photo Neesie (clever daughter's camera, hehe),the water looks so inviting, but I bet it;s still too chilly for a dip.
Possums and Joeys - Well you did say you wanted family visits..isn't that what you meant? Lol
It's sunny but chilly here now Autumn is settling in. Can't wait to see the colour changes. I hope you're having a lovely evening. Quite cloudy I see, but you'll be tucked up indoors I guess. Have a good night :0)

    1. Brr..very chilly I imagine! I think I'll stick with the indoor pool for now. ;D
Last night the kangaroos and joeys were amazing...they just came out of the bush for some food and took it right out of our hands. All healthy stuff that the resort provided.
I have never seen a joey so big climb into his Mum's pouch (ouch) and I just had to thank my lucky stars I'm not a kangaroo!

I love the autumn too but I'm needing spring and summer first.
Enjoy those colours and have a great week.
I'll try and visit but the internet out in the bush can be tricky! :D

    1. Oh they were special...they obviously are very at home here with the visitors baring gifts. Mums with their joeys were a little more nervous but then I suppose that's only natural.
I'm hoping to get a video of them...especially the joey climbing into the pouch!
Have fun with WOYWW ~ enjoy ;D

    1. It is a little special and we've only been here overnight. You get a real sense of the outback but not too remote. It's certainly enough for me as I'm not a camper!
But who knows after this little taste I might consider 'glamping'?
Lot's of photos to follow and we have our art supplies with us...so soaking up the inspiration by the bucketful!
      Enjoy WOYWW ;D

  7. Ok that is it I am not happy you are somewhere nice and I have to work hard on surviving this next few weeks to get over the footy and NRL finals and other braodcasting stuff. Not to many photos ok, I am envious.....

    1. Aww...I'm sorry Eliza but we have had to wait for two years for this little break.
Once the footy and NRL finals are over you should come on down here to recharge the batteries...I'll post a warning before the photos appear :D
But there's quite a few piling up already! Off to see koalas next after a quick bike ride!
It can be tough this holiday lark!!! ;D
Hopefully have an easy fun week without too many hiccups along the way. xoxo

    1. Well it was a little choppy yesterday when we arrived but oh this morning it was so still and the 'wish you were here' would be more appropriate...especially if you were looking to chill and recharge the batteries. ;D

Have lots of fun desk hopping and I'll maybe catch up sometime during the week.
      Enjoy! :D

Well not too sure we'll be dipping into the lake but the heated pool and spa might tempt us.

It is great having all the critters up close and personal.
We've also brought our art supplies so hopefully will have some work to show soon...if we can fit it in! :D

Thanks for stopping by and I'll try to catch you soon ;D

    1. Hi Alison,
We've just had another dawn photographic session so there's lots more to see and thankfully the possum didn't wear the tin can last night...he just had some healthy food instead...I couldn't resist feeding him.

Enjoy WOYWW and I'll try to catch up when I can or when the internet allows. Thanks for popping by ;D

  20. actually, neesie, you should word that "your daughter and her amazing camera skills". it isn't the camera that makes the shot, it's the photographer knowing what she's doing and making that shot happen :). and you are right - she's an amazing photographer! i am so enjoying her photos and your vacation :) and i'm a whole lot jealous - wish i were there, too :(

    1. I agree 100% with your comments Alice,
I've started to play with her camera in the hope that I'll be able to switch from my poor ancient battered camera or a new one.
It always takes time to get used to new equipment...but the results make me realise it's time to move on! ;D

I'm happy to hear you're enjoying visiting with us. It makes it all worthwhile hearing everyone's great comments...and of course we're having a great time too! :D
