Have a great day
These photos are grand. It looks like you've found a photographer's Mecca, and done a wonderful job of capturing its essence.

Thanks for your kind comment NC Sue,
DeleteI had a great weekend, but feel I've only just scratched the surface. I need to revisit and take some more photos and hopefully the sun might shine to make them look better. Scotland gets too much bad press about it's weather.
Thanks for visiting and hosting. Have a wonderful weekend.
Edinburgh is one of my favorite places in the world. I love this city with so much history. I loved out visit there and only wish we could go back. I guess I am greedy but I really want to go back to the UK.
ReplyDeleteSandy xx
Maybe do the lotto Sandy and you just might get lucky!
DeleteI feel that there's so much here that I've hardly scratched the surface. I'll have to go out and about more to capture lots more images so that you can visit that way.
You won't even have to pack or do that long haul flight!
Have a wonderful weekend and that's for stopping by.
Castles are just so magical. :)
ReplyDeleteThis isn't the best angle to shoot it. Normally you see it from down below looking up the hill. I thought it was just a little different and it shows where the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is staged.
DeleteI hope to nip across to see you soon. I'm still trying to catch up... phew and it's taking some time.
In the meantime enjoy your weekend.
What a jewel, I so love all British architecture so much, and it is a stunning example of it, thank you for sharing this BEAUTY, sweetest friend of mine !
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful remainder of your week, my lovely Denise,
sending love to you, with so much thankfulness
Dany
It seems that there is an amazing amount of history everywhere you look Daniela. I feel that I've hardly captured any of it.
DeleteI'm not sure why I love old cemetery's, but I do.
I have to admit that I don't think I'd like one of those huge headstones placed right up to my cottage wall, especially just outside of the bedroom.
Thank you for your lovely words and visit. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks for the tour, Scotland is on my bucket list for some day!
ReplyDeleteOh Christine, this isn't even the tip of the iceberg. I'll definitely have to return and do it more justice. There's history oozing out of everywhere it seems.
DeleteI hope you get to tick it off your bucket list one day because you will not be disappointed. Well as long as the weather holds up, but then there's so much to see and do, you probably wouldn't notice it if it wasn't.
Have a great weekend and thanks for visit.
Beautiful photos, Denise! Great subject matter. Brought back lots of memories. hugs, Donna
ReplyDeleteAww did it Donna, that's good to know although I've said there is so much to capture that it's difficult to know what to photograph.
DeleteI'll just have to go again as there's so much.
Have a great weekend and hopefully I'll be able to spend time visiting everyone soon.
Such a great place to visit and take photos - i like them!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and leaving a comment, I enjoyed it!
