I took a distant view of Aberdeen City today, but unfortunately the weather wasn't the best for such a shot. I'll definitely have to revisit this another day, because on a clear day you can see all of the church spires and even the beach over on the far right hand side of the photo.

Thanks for popping into my place.
I hope you are enjoying a great weekend.
Until next time... Toodleloo
Looks like a very tranquil spot - it's always interesting to look back from a city from a distance, especially when you're usually caught up in the middle of it.
ReplyDeleteI just wish it had been a clear day.
DeleteI totally agree with you Tim, this is rather a different view over the city and it captured my attention for that very reason.
It's a beautiful view even if the weather was slightly hazy to get the best shot of it :-)
ReplyDeleteYou can actually see right over the city for miles when the conditions are right, but obviously that wasn't the case. I'll have to remember to revisit another day.
DeleteWhat a view! That is just beautiful. It looks so peaceful there x
ReplyDeleteI'm just sorry that it wasn't better conditions to maximize that view.
DeleteThat is some view, I can make out so much on your horizon there
ReplyDeleteYou can see for miles and miles on a clear sunny day and the beach so near to the city is spectacular. I'll try to capture it again when the weather conditions are better.
DeleteBeautiful view. Feels calm against the busy city.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
The city of Aberdeen is surrounded by farmland and beaches which makes it quite a spectacular view... on a clear day!
DeleteHo hum... maybe next time.
It looks so vast, like it must be absolutely huge. You've now got me thinking about Aberdeen. I keep thinking about visiting :)
ReplyDeleteAberdeen is quite large, although not as large as Edinburgh or Glasgow. It has been called the grey city but that's because the buildings are made with granite that is grey... but if the sun is shining they sparkle.
DeleteWhat a fantastic view - I would love to get there one day x
ReplyDeleteThanks Victoria, it's a shame because with the right conditions the view is so much better. Something for me to try to recapture one day and do it justice.
DeleteI can't imagine a better picture on a clear day. This one is so charming. Makes me wish to be there.
ReplyDeleteI will have to show you another photo when it is doing it justice.
DeleteHi Neesie, the view is quite spectacular as it is. I can only imagine how good a shot it would have been on a clearer day.

It is spectacular Debbie, but I was disappointed with the outcome of this shot. I'll try to revisit on a day when it will do it justice.
DeleteI so love Autumn fields, thank you for sharing this gorgeous photo with us, dearest Denise !
ReplyDeleteHope you're having the best of evenings,
I'm sending hugs and ever much love to you
Xx Dany
I'm surrounded by autumn fields which I adore too Dany,
DeleteThe farmer has been harvesting for weeks, which is wonderful to see. The colours are amazing.
Wow, that's quite a view! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you... but I wish the weather had been clearer on the day, because that view is spectacular.
DeleteWhat a lovely photo! That's an incredible view!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisa, it could have been better, but the weather decided not to play. If it had been clearer then the photo would have been so much better.
Deletenice view :) Usually the only reason we go Aberdeen is to go to the big ASDA lol
ReplyDeleteLovely view!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty place and a great photo. have a very nice day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgesou! Even with this less than optimal weather as you say. I can hardly believe that it can get better.
